Memories in Dreams

Lately I've been noticing that my memory is really messed up in dreams. Some times it seems I have amnesia and can't remember a thing about where I am or what I'm supposed to be doing(which makes me anxious). Other times, I'll remember something in a dream that I can't place in experience and doubt really happened. These memories seem real upon awakening, or like memories of other dreams that I'd forgotten. Has anyone else experienced strange memory messing like this?

I have. Either I won't remember anything from real life (when you become lucid, try to remember what day of the week it is. It's really hard for me.) or I'll have memories of past dreams, but when I wake up I won't be sure if it was a past dream or just part of my imagination.
