Interesting Lucid Experience

So the other night i had a lucid dream that was very unstable so i decided to run my hands together to help clear things up. I started to rub em together and nothing happened so i continued and as i was doing that everything faded and i "woke up" i didn't open my eyes but i was aware of my body in the real world but i could still feel my dream hands rubbing together then everything faded.

What was that?

Ever lie down and day dream on a lazy afternoon? You know that feeling when the day dream feels almost real, as if you were there, before you suddenly jolt back into reality? Its like a dream, but you know you hadn't fallen asleep yet.

Its the same thing both ways. That period between sleepfulness, and wakefulness.
