LDing during the day
So, I made another thread a few days ago about me getting back into LDing... since I haven't been actively trying to LD, I've just had some 'accidental' DILDs over the last year or more. So I've been doing all I can to LD but I find that the wait inbetween sleeps (daytime) I get anxious and just want practice LDing ASAP.
So, is it feasable to LD during the day, like during a nap? And if so does it require REM sleep, or to be asleep for a certain amount of time?
If the answer to the above question is 'No' then is there anything I can do during the day to increase my chance of LDing? Anything at all?

Yes it is possible to LD during the day. Im not too informed on the subject but i know that you can.

Cool! Hopefully someone here knows something about it, cause I'd like to do that. Also, seeing as it's the weekend and I don't work till the evening tomorrow I'll do the WBTB/WILD/FILD/VILD technique tonight.
-To bed at 11ish
-Wake at 7ish
-Spend maybe 30 minutes on Dreamviews
-Back to Bed
-Hopefully pull off WILD with one of these, MILD/FILD/VILD, mixed in.
But first I'll take a nap at 8pm or so and try my first daytime WILD.
Any tips/hints/advice/concerns would be loved.

You can definitely try taking a nap. I've heard that you go into REM pretty quickly with naps. That's about all I know about it.
The only other comment I have is that 8 hours is a pretty long time to sleep before a WBTB. Most people seem to do 4-6 and then wake up and go back to sleep, but if you already know what works for you then go for it.

It definitely works I had plans that had gotten canceled the night before I had been reading about the FILD technique I ended up having two DILDs that night and I was bored that day so for about three hours that day I used the FILD technique worked GREAT had three LDs. If you have nothin else to do then go for it I am about to do it again tomorrow this was from about noon to three.

One day after school I was really tired, and didn't feel like going out. So i decided to attempt a LD. During the day is when I often remember my dreams very vividly. So I was anxious to hopefully remember a LD. I did, naps for me now are like instant lucids if I'm tired enough I can just WILD, or I could just say a mantra to put my self to sleep of bordem, that works half the time haha, and I consider those successful MILD's. (:

Yess, lucid dream in a nap is definetly possible, and i seem to have more experience and chance of being lucid when i fall asleep in the evening, not sure if you have to be in rem stage to be lucid, but if you do then in my dreams during a nap, i literally go straight into a lucid dream and i'd often wake up and look at the time and realise i was only asleep for several minutes.
although i never used any method to do this, it just happened, i have only just begun looking at methods to achieve lucid dreaming.

My first and only LD was in Goverment Class within only a 15 minute nap during a video.
