      Post weird dreams from food

you know how some foods have weird affects on certain people's body and makes them have weird dreams? like for instance, my mom cant eat Doritos because it makes her have nightmares for some reason. not cuz shes afraid of the chip or anything, just her body doesn't agree with Doritos.
well do you think if you found a food that made you dream a weird dream it would be easier to notice something not right and subconsciously realize to RC therefore hopefully achieving lucidity?
      idk.. just a thought?

I think on this forum mainly cheese fills the LD food gap. At least I've read some successes with cheese on here. Not too sure... Personally, I'm still trying to see of the myth of pork rinds causing nightmares is true.

I think it doesn't matter. Not too sure again... It's been awhile since I've seen those success stories, but I think mainly cheddar may have been involved.

Finally! Someone who had nightmares because of pork rinds! This makes me want to go out and get a bag.

You may find the Lucid Aids section appealing. It's pretty much all about finding ways to get some pretty vivid dreams and hopefully some lucid ones by experimenting with certain foods/supplements and external stimulation.

In my experience, I never got a lucid while taking supplements, but I've had some pretty long/vivid and in some cases f_cked up dreams while taking either vitamin B6 or salmon oil.

Oh yeah, if anyone remembers watching Hey Arnold, there was that episode were that obsessed girl sleep walked/talked after eating pork rinds. Just thought I mention it. Sounds like Pork rinds would make a good dream experiment though. I never heard of Doritos affecting dreams however.

Lol, well I don't actually remember hearing it from anywhere else. I heard junk food causes nightmares, but I'm not sure about that. I guess maybe if you have some kind of sugar rush that gets your adrenaline going, maybe.
