Yeah. I committed harakiri. My sword felt warm. I found myself in a white void, then I was back in my dream body.
Sort of. The actions I took were classic suicide moves, but my intent wasn't to kill myself, but to wake myself up. Sometime I can't wake myself up from a dream. I figured I usually wake up when I fall and hit the ground, so I threw myself off a building and used the shock of the impact to wake myself up. Another time I sat on the hood of a car while it crashed into something. Worked like a charm.
in my dream last night me and my brother were in the game modern warfare 2, and for some reason in order for us too advance in the game we had to kill ourselves, so i pointed my handgun at my chest and pulled the trigger and i didnt die or even get hurt! i proceeded to unload the entire clip into my chest, once out of ammo i went to look for more ammo. once i found some i put the gun to my head and pulled the trigger, this still didnt kill me!
Plenty. Sometimes to wake up, sometimes for the drama, sometimes to see what my subconscious perceives the afterlife as.
Is it safe?
I have a thread on this, someone answer s.v.p.

This. I used to try to kill myself to escape from nightmares.Quote:

I don't really die anymore, though, even in non-lucids.
I've "killed myself" plenty of times. Some of my favorite Lucid Tasks of the Month have involved suicide. Personally, I think any idea that killing yourself in a dream will result in your actual death is unfounded nonsense.
completly agree, but arent their better tasks than suicide ones, theyre to easy, alll you have to do is be a loser
yeah, and on two separate occasions. once when my powers went out of control, and destroyed me. I guess that counts as suicide. And once I committed seppaku, which involves disembowelment with a blade. Great experience, though. All I could feel was a vibrating and a little burning sensation in the area I stabbed.
I haven't yet, but I want to jump out of a plane without a parachute.
In fact... I think I'll jump from the moon.
