Scared
I just started LDing not too long ago. I get ready and start LDing and they become scared each time and end up waking up. Not sure why I get scared. I've looked at my dream triggers and have read my journal and there doesn't seem to be any connection from one dream to another. Anyone else had this happen to them? Any suggestion would be nice.

One of the needed items in using one's mind, is being able to control it. One has to focus. Fear is introduced and what one has to do, is learn to let it go. Learning the difference between reality and fantasy includes all emotions. One cannot hear the dream, so to speak, when one is reacting emotionally. Just something I learned a long time ago.
Learning to see, involves the distinction between self and not self. When we are paying attention to our reaction, we are less aware.

Are you referring to the sleep paralysis felt when doing WILD? If so, then it's best to remain calm, and keep telling yourself that it's all fake, and it can not hurt you. Once you pass SP, the rest of the dream is very enjoyable.
