For those of us who are better at remembering things as pictures, and those who like to draw, would it be best to have our DJ consist mostly of pictures?
I think this will work for some people. What do you guys think?

I think it could work very well in conjunction with a journal but unless your about to draw 20 pictures per dream it might be a bit hard. Unless you can capture all of the parts of your dream in one picture but this would be kinda hard I think. Definatly worth it for an amazing scene you saw or a cool creature or something but I dont think I could capture the essence of a whole dream in a picture.
I do a fair amount of pictures for my journal, and I can tell you now that it is VERY time consuming. Of course, it's going to depend on the amount of work you put into your pics, but I'd suggest just picking out a select few dreams that you want to do illustrations for, because trying to illustrate every other dream is going to drive you insane. Lol.
Yes! draw pictures! even just basic ones will at least help you remember the dreams more if you are a visual learner. Plus, the majority of dreaming is visual images :)
I'm sure some writing helps with clarification though :P
That is exactly what I was thinking, SweetSleep.
Yeah i draw the odd picture to help me remember the landscape, but i find if i need to write to remember the thoughts i was thinking and why i was doing something
Like Oneironaut said, the problem I see coming from using pictures as your dominant method of logging dreams is that it takes a good deal of time to get the drawings the way you want them, even if they're simple drawings. Writing can be done in a blaze if you're excited and have a lot of details to write down - not to mention you can exercise your writing abilities for classwork. Drawings aren't a problem as long as it's not the main logging method of your DJ, or as long as you can draw really fast to not lose details due to your memory giving out. :P
