Doing RC's when you remember parts of dreams?

Today I didn't remember any dreams... Then something made me remember a Taco Bell Dream I had... I did an RC then I was scrolling through google calendar and saw a dentist appointment and I remembered I had a dream where I got a shot... I associate Shots with the dentist so I recalled it. I did an RC...

What I'm saying here, would it be effective if you did your RC's mostly when you suddenly recall dreams?

The primary purpose of RC's is to either A: Take situations, events and themes that commonly happen in dreams, and use Reality Checks during similar, comparable or familiar situations in real life so that you recognize those common themes in dreams, or B: find abnormal events in life and do reality checks often so that when something abnormal happens in a dream, it is easily recognizable.

If something that often happens to you is spontaneous recall of dreams or events while your dreaming, then yes this will be a good thing for you. If not, it may not have the desired effect.

I try to do a reality check as often as I can whenever I think about dreaming. I also do it when strange things happen or I see any of my dream signs.
