Help please!!!!
Well today i WILDed twice. The first time i got over excited so i didn't dream that time then i tried again. Then i successfully did it and then i woke up in my bedroom and my bed was like swallowing me but i got rid of that but it was dark i kept yelling increase clarity and stuff it made everything look so life like but when i yelled make it brighter it wouldn't work then i closed my eyes and opened them i was still dreaming but i wasn't lucid anymore why is this and how can i prevent this from happening again. THANKS :D

Congrats on your 1st WILD. IMO,the first moments in a LD should be spent deepening the experience by stimulating the dream body. Rubbing hands together, spinning or finding an object to hold can work well for this.Be patient and sight will come eventually,if not,you can "pry" your dream eyes open.[IMO commands only work sometimes]Only after stability is established do I set out on my goals.
Another way to have a long LD is to go with the flow of the themes/scenes while maintaining Lucid focus, like a compromise. You have to be a bit subtle.Steven Leberge has said something like, the right approach is to have the state of mind of a card player with a winning hand that is keeping it secret.Don't get too excited basically...Hope that helps.

A little bit of patience. From what you say you are making amazing progress. What you need is more experience. I had little to no control in my first LDs, but overtime it increased. My advice would be to take things slow in a dream, as well as keeping up the good work. Congrats.

Yeah, just be patient, it will get easier to control and stay lucid/asleep as you advance, other than that, try stabilizing again if control isn't working.

Good advice has been given so I don't have much to add. Just try and stay relaxed and also remind yourself that you're still dreaming. It's not uncommon to lose lucidity and fall back into the dream, but you'll get better with that with practice. Say that you're dreaming every now and then just so you don't forget.
