what is the longest time you have been in an LD and how do you make them last longer
I had a dream that went for a lifetime but only slept for one hour!!! Just kidding i had like a 20 min lucid dream, still new to it. I just stayed calm and walked around.
Since I only had 2 since joining and am new at it, 1 minute at max. Although with regular dreams I have had dreams that have seemingly lasted hours. But when I woke up it was a few and hour at most. If you could perfect this and make dreams last hours in a matter of 1 hour or left your experience in life could increase by days, weeks, even months or more if you can do it efficently and every night. Hell you might end up spending most of your experienced life in dreams. Now that would be movie worth
My longest LD was around 7 minutes, but my others are usually around 3 minutes.
It ranges a lot for me. Some last only a few minutes, some last over an hour.
What I've come to learn is that what really matters is not actual time, but your perception of it. A few minute-long lucid dream can feel like an hour, and an hour-long lucid dream can feel like a few minutes, because in the dream, time doesn't really exist. What I find helpful is just to intentionally alter my perception of time so that the dream feels long regardless of how many minutes of real time were spent. ;)
Most of mine aren't true to time. I once fell asleep in class and had a lucid dream where I thought I was in for about two hours... I decided to wake myself and came to find I'd only been out for fifteen minutes
My LDs are usually very short. The longest one was probably 2-3 minutes.

I like the hand examination. The body is more stable than the dream environment so it is easy to focus on and stabilize.
Yes, it is all about dream stabilization.
Lucid dreaming normally takes place in REM sleep, which is pretty rare to last more than an hour. This may happen if you endure REM rebound.
Like, 20 seconds lol
I never bought a watch to use in my dreams, nor am I much of a clock watcher, however, I do know, as I have done it, that one can stay lucid through all the dreams that one has in a a night. It is very demanding, and, for me, the few moments between dreams, all I could see is my face in the darkness.
I have never rated lucid dream in accordance with time, but in accordance with content. The content becomes more relevant the more you understand just what is going on. Secondly, one can be put on a life path in a lucid dream whose accomplishments are far more important than most lucid dreams themselves.
It is the goal that is important, the means is just the means. One does not build a house for the sake of a hammer, but the hammer exists for the sake of the house.
Hrmm.. I'm pretty sure it was about 30 minutes long, as I remember looking at the clock before I fell asleep, and waking up and seeing the time.
My longest time is one hour or less. :(
A few hours- in dream time of course!
I remember having a few simi lucid dreams when I was younger. I wish I had known about lucid dreaming and worked on it then but that was pre-internet :) The usual one was attempting to fly over a forest but all I could manage to do was jump high and glide back down. The longest I can think of as probably in the area of 15 - 20 min.
So far, about 20 minutes. Could've been less. :P
My longest felt around 3 hours long. It was more like an hour real time.
I think one was about fifteen minutes.
a minute or so. 2nd lucid dream
Very hard to judge how long they ACTUALLY are, but I would probably say maybe 10 minutes?
