I'm sure there's been threads like this before, but I will start another one.
Curious as to what happens when you find your subconcious, or more-over, HOW did you find your subconcious?
Just anything in general about it. I haven't had my first LD yet, and one of the things I plan on doing when I go lucid, is interact a little with my subconcious. So...anyone? ^^
I have heard about talking to your subconcious in the past and i am quite intrested in it.
Have you ever attempted to talk to it?
Well I said up there, I haven't had my first LD yet. I'm a new guy to all of this. When I get a little better at LDing though, I do want to try talking to it. I heard from someone who told me, NEVER ask it what your biggest fear is. Which makes sense. @_@
The way I see it, every DC you meet is a tiny bit of your subconscious. Mine always seem to have subtle aspects of my own personality. It'd be utterly amazing to meet a DC who claimed to be a full representation of my subconscious. I've actually received advice from DCs when I was non-lucid too, which was amazing. It actually helped me in real life a little.
Fonzy: That's... wow. O.o I never thought of it that way. How every DC would have a tiny bit of you subconcious. That makes perfect sense though. I'm interested in interacting with DCs when I get good at LDing.
I know Im excited too. I still havent had a LD yet. Seems cool though.

Saying that one is conscious of what they are unconcious of is a line of reasoning beyond my ability. Qute frankly, it only demonstrates the quality of current education when one can even acquire the highest benchmarks of education and still end up only speaking non-sense.
That's LDing for you. It's your mind. The human mind can do very strange things.
@Dragon I recommend you pay attention to your non-lucid DCs too. They can be just as interesting, if not more. Some of my favourite dreams were non-lucids believe it or not. But still, becoming Lucid still does kick ass and I wish you the best of luck.
EDIT - Also that's just my view, there are people that will disagree with me. But it makes the most sense for me personally. I'll correct myself here and say that I don't think it applies to ALL DCs, since I've met The Doctor from Doctor Who a few times recently and I'm nothing like him. But yes, most DCs are really just extensions of yourself. They ARE in your head after all. ;)
@Fonzy: Thank you. ^.^ I've started my dream journal last night. Sadly, I was only able to remember one dream, but I'm sure I'll get better at it. And as for paying attention to non-lucid DCs as well, good point. I'll make sure to do that.
