Can anyone quickly explain SP and Reverse Blinking

I was googling up sleep paralysis, and everything said it was really scary and stuff.

I want to know why I would want to achieve sleep paralysis.. is it going to help with my lucid dreaming.. whats the point of sleep paralysis?

Also, what does reverse blinking do and how will it help me lucid dream
