How long does it take you to dream journal?

Title says it all. How long? Mine isn't a quick 5 minute little chicken scratch, it's like an epic write. I wish it were shorter but there is so much you gotta say about the dream! Part of the problem is having to actually write it down, not type it. I love, love typing so much more but my computer is downstairs and 1. I don't want to go downstairs and write on the comuter at 5:00 in the morning and 2. I'll probably forget a lot about my dreams by the time I'm downstairs. So anyways, how long does it take you? Do you know any ways to shorten it or to you just have to grin and bare it?

15 minutes of making notes at night and 30 to 45 minutes to write it down during the day isn't rare for me.

Dang. I don't know how long it takes to write, but I average about 3-4 dreams a page (notebook paper)

I've been lazy lately so had to type up a bunch because my phone's draft box was full, and those took up 10pages, lol. I need to get back into writing them down

Anywhere from 5mins to 3 hours, depends on how much detail I feel like writting down <.<

You should, when wake in the middle of the night, just write down a few keywords of the dream, later, reading them, you'll remember the whole dream.

If I write any keywords during the night, it does not take more than 1 or 2 minutes. When I'm dream journaling, it may take 15 or 25 minutes, or less, vary if the dream was long or no.

      Dreal?

A couple jotnotes in the morning, and anywhere from ten minutes to an hour at night.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.

Takes me 30/45 minutes to chronicle a long detailed dream.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

I'd guess about 10-20 minutes. Also, I just had to get rid of "dreal".

Depends on the dream, I write the whole thing right after having it. My epic long 3 page ones take around 10 or 15 minutes. The rest maybe around 5. And for long dreams it usually takes 5 minutes to kay there and remember the whole thing. I'll never type them, I like writing in a notebook way better.

use your phones audio recorder! just push the button and talk! it takes a good 10 minutes off (or more) and all you have to do is listen to it in the morning and you will remember everything, and if not well its on your phone!

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
