Coelhao: Well, I used to stay up for 40 or so minutes, but now I only stay up for 20 if I am doing a proper WBTB. That seems about enough time for me, but when I did the longer ones back in the day I had a much higher success rate. |

Well, singing involves the use of your vocal cords and there muscle memory comes into the picture. Although I've read about people getting better at like, snowboarding for example by dreaming and thinking alot about it, I doubt you can get any better at singing |

Oh, I have a question that I asked on the WILD forum but nobody gave me an answer! Here it is: |
|
If you don't have a sleep pattern, then you might benefit from it when it comes to naps and REM, but if you do then you know exactly when you can WILD and you won't have trouble falling asleep if your body is used to it. I recommend you keep a stable sleeping pattern. Same thing applies to WBTB's. If you have a regular sleeping pattern you won't have trouble falling asleep again if your body is used to get a few more hours of sleep. |

Thanks, Matte! I'll try to have a pattern, then! |

Hi, Matte! I have a quick question about reality checks... About two, three days ago, I had two false awakenings. I ended up checking a paper with written stuff and they seemed fine. I couldn't see anything weird about them, so I figured I wasn't dreaming. In both dreams (they happened in the same night), I looked at the mirror and that's when I realised I was dreaming. |

Well, the reason you're not getting lucid whenever you RC is because you haven't been doing the RC's entirely right. What you want to do anytime at all that you feel like you should question your reality, is to really question it. Use all 5 senses, check your memory and figure out if the place you're in or the situation you're in is really logical. Then you should perform a RC and even multiple ones if you can just in case. It seems like you're having an easy time to get the spark of lucidity going, but you need to be even more critical of your surroundings. |

Hello, Matte! I've had this experience ever since... well, forever, really, but I'm not sure what it is... I'll just give an example: in most of my dreams (non-lucid), I'm being followed by someone who wants to kill me, I end up thinking "oh, I should pretend I'm invisible!" and then I know I'm still visible (I can see my arms, my legs, my body), I know that the person can still see me, but they act like they can't. |
