      Pops715's Workbook

Hi everyone. I've only been a member for a couple of months but I've already had three lucid dreams. They were all last month, though, and I haven't had another for a few weeks now. My dream recall is usually very good; when I wake up in the morning, I almost always remember at least one dream I had. And I'm always telling people I know, "I had the strangest dream last night..." then proceed to tell them all about it. For the past week or two, though, my recall hasn't been as good as it usually is and I'm not really sure why. Anyway, my goal is to eventually be able to have at least one lucid dream per week. Hopefully this class will help me with that.

Hi pops and welcome to class! The thing about lucid dreaming is that it takes a while to "master." But aslong as you keep it up, you'll see improvement, that I assure you. I went from having 3 or so lucids a month to around 10. It's all about dedication and persistance. Try out a few other techniques if you're not seeing any results with the one you use atm. Also check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/f136/begin...thread-115806/

Choose a task or two and try to achieve them. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks. I've taken a look at the tasks and I'm assuming I should start with the Week 1-2 tasks, since all of the other weeks seem to focus on tasks to do in a lucid dream, which I'm still having trouble achieving. I've been trying various things to try to improve my chances (last night I ate a banana before bedtime) but so far nothing works. I'm doing reality checks as often as I can remember to do them throughout the day (probably between 10 to 15 times during the day) Do I need to do them more often? I'm also using MILD when going to sleep but that doesn't seem to be working very well either. I will say that the three lucid dreams that I have had seemed to just happen spontaneously, ie, on nights where I just went to sleep without thinking much about lucid dreaming. Sometimes I wonder if I'm trying too hard to make it happen?

From my own experience, the harder you try the bigger chance of getting lucid. But that doesn't work for everyone, so perhaps. Yeah start out with the dream recall task. How often you should RC depends on how aware you generally are. 5 RC's a day can work but then you should be pretty much aware of your surroundings all day. 20 or so is a good number. Just keep it up, you'll improve
