Would this work for a DILD?

I am still trying to have my first ever lucid dream and I figured DILD is the way to go. I have tried WBTB several times and done frequent reality checks but have not yet experienced lucidity in a dream. So this brings me to my quick question. I have heard techniques where you write a sentence over and over again such as, "I am consciously aware while I dream." If I were to write this sentence one-hundred times before going to bed each night, would this give me lucidity in a dream? I would appreciate your thoughts and was wondering if anyone has done this to experience a lucid dream. I would think it would work in the same way as a mental mantra. Thanks, everyone.

I think that the results will be the same as the mantra. Maybe a bit more intense but still the same results.
It can be very amusing to do that all nights. I would suggest you to try just mantra. After some time this will lead you to have lack of motivation because there is no technique that works from one day to another for beginners, and too much effort for not being lucid frustrates us. Anyways, with time you will experience lucidity to the extent in which you become lucid every night but that needs practice and I assure you that with this technique you won't last a year.
Also I suggest you to participate in the DILDs course with Arch, Hukif and gab, they are very good teachers and im sure you will progress faster with them.

That's basically how the writing technique works. The idea is to make your intent leave a mark on your subconscious. I have tried the writing thing a couple times, but it didn't work too well for me. I think it's better to repeat the sentence inside your head as you fall asleep as a mantra. It couldn't hurt to try both techniques though.
