Using Emotions to Induce Lucid Dreams?

Howdy peoples :),
I have been noticing for a while now that my dreams are generally quite emotionally charged, much more so than my waking life is, and I was wondering about how I could use this to induce lucids. I assume I should try to be aware of my emotional state and whether it is normal or not, but I'm not sure how to do this, particularly given that emotions tend to obfuscate logical and rational thought. I think that writing down the emotions and levels of them along with the content of my dreams in my DJ, but does anyone have any other tips or techniques?

Emotion in dreams can be quite intense. You could try using these as dreamsigns and induce lucid dreaming that way. As for me, I've taught myself to become at least aware (if not fully lucid) whenever I encounter any situation in my dreams that would scare or frustrate (and sometimes anger) me. The very sense of getting frightened instantly activates an increased awareness (or maybe just turns a passive awareness to a more active state, but that's another discussion), allowing me to take control and change the dream for the better. I think something similar could be done with other (more positive) emotions.

This is an interesting topic, as I am always searching for different ways to become lucid. I have not tried anything like this personally, but I will follow the thread with interest :)

I have tried using a DC to gain lucidity. I did not have any luck with it (and can't say I gave it much time or practice) but I believe a technique such as that could be tied into emotions since DC's are projections. So, it could be possible to have a DC tell you that you are dreaming.

Emotions are connected very strongly to memory. If you have much experience with Wake-Back-To-Bed, you'll know that its much easier to enter a lucid dream by remembering the last dream you had and imagining it vividly in your head. If you're having very emotionally charged dreams, then you've got something good there, because even if you're struggling to visualise the content of the dream, you can focus on remembering the emotions you felt when you lay back in bed, focus on those fully as you fall asleep, and bam you're likely to appear in the same dream/or manage WILD very quickly.
