Hey there everyone,
I've been doing a bit of research on FILD in the past few days and I understand most steps that I have to do. However, one thing I can't quite figure out is if I need to keep both fingers touching my bed and just press down on my mattress, or if I need to lift one finger up incredibly gently off the bed whilst the other pushes down.
If anyone could help, I'd much appreciate it!
Hi Nasson, I haven't had a lucid dream yet, but recently I have been trying FILD.
I say go with your first option. Keep both fingers touching the bed, but just alternate applying pressure. I find that if you lift your fingers off of the bed, the effort needed to do that keeps you too awake to fall asleep quickly.
