      A novel LD induction idea

I believe this to be a novel idea worth sharing, though I have not done all the necessary research to answer some of my own questions. I believe this is the proper sub-forum - though I hope it gets sufficient visibility.

I have been doing a fair amount of reading on PSI phenomenon lately. There are countless documented experiments and results which prove quite well, that the human body can respond to events in the future. For example, randomly showing different sets of pictures ( mild, aggresive, sexual) to people, it can be demontrated that the body has a physical reaction to the nature of the picture in advance. Now this is not to say on every picture projected, but is to say the results are statistically relevant. Measurements are typically made via fMRI or skin conductance measurement.

The are also results I have read where certain electrical activity in the brain (discrete frequency spikes) were observed in accordance with an interesting experiment. It innvolved 4 playing cards, where a next card was going to be picked from that set. When the player looked at the card about to come up, the aformentioned spike was observed.

So if you believe these observations are reasonable, you must believe that there are elements of space/time we don't fully understand. Continuing with this line of reasoning, one asks the question - how might we use this to induce lucidity.

We all have the experience in the morning of kicking ourselves in the ass and saying "why did I miss the dreamsign of the 12 foot duck walking down the road"? Well, in the morning, cleary spell out in your dream log "I missed the 12 foot duck". At some point later in the day, reflect on this issue.

Now here's the specific suggestion. Let's say we believe a 10Hz signal is a precursor to a prescient (sp?) event. Well if 10 Hz is associated with reception of PSI info, perhaps it's associated with transmission of PSI info?

Meditate on the 12 foot duck and your intention to catch that dreamsign. Do this under the influence of brainwave entrainment on the 10Hz signal. Personally, I prefer electrocranial stimulation over binaural beats. But regardless.

By doing this daily, could you send yourself a message from the future and not miss the 12 foot duck dreamsign in the first place?

Now I don't BTW believe 10 Hz is the magic frequency. I have some ideas. My question becomes, does anyone on this forum with experience with PSI, have specific examples of frequencies (carrier and/or brainstate) which could be leveraged in such an experiment?

I think this is an interesting concept in part because so many people have had precognitive dreams. Are dreams an ideal receptor of PSI information because the sub-conscious is better attuned to subtle forms of information?

Add to the post or PM me. If we get enough takers, we could set off a more formal experiment.

i think it would just create a train of thought for almost everything that happens... if you start saying oh i missed (some weird thing unlikely in real life) to everything that was weird... your brain will just automatically add the train of thought "why did i miss that sign" to anything and most likely everything.

im guessing it will work.. but realise do you want your brain adding was that real to everything you do?

No. I wouldn't. O_O It makes life so sad...

Sound like the MILD technique really... setting an intention to not miss something. Except you're talking about setting the intention during the day, rather than at night. That's interesting and definitely worth a shot.
