What is this strange feeling?

For a few months, I could create this weird sensation in my body. I feel like some area in my stomach becomes a strong 'focus point', or something around that feeling. My whole body just relaxes, and I feel like I'm being rocked back and forward. The first time this happened I was just reading online, and was exhausted. Since then, I could do this automatically without trying much. I would call it meditation, except that it's obviously not. I have my eyes open, and can do it within seconds. Sometimes I make it happen, other times it just happens.

I just want to know if someone has experianced this before, or have a good idea what it is exactly that I'm doing.

yeah I think its your internal energy. Your energy goes around in circulations, and this circulation is causing the rocking back and forward.. I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing tho, but I've experience something similar but I could attach the rocking back and forward to my breath.. I think you just need to keep playing with it until you figure it out yourself what it is. I have no idea what it is for really

It sounds like something people do to induce an out of body experience (OBE). A part of you can be less attached and you can rock it up or down until more of you becomes detached. Soon all of you is detached and you can float out of your body and then the party starts.

You should read about OBE's and you probably could use this to create one yourself.

That happens to me too; it feels weird! I focus on my stomach and it feels like something's pulsating inside me, rocking me back and forth slightly. I usually feel the rocking in different directions too, not just forward/backward or left/right. Sometimes it's all four ways.

Yeah, it might be internal energy, or it could just be my body's minute balancing calculations. After all, my stomach happens to be my body's center of gravity.
