I need help closing my 'third eye' any help?

      Um. Yeah.

Firstly, is this third eye thing even legit? Does it exist or is it just an actual health issue regarding the pineal gland?

Secondly, how can you tell if your third eye is trying to open? What feeling does one experience?

Thirdly, how does one reverse this thing?

Are you thinking you are seriously ill instead of experiencing awakening of your third eye? I'm not sure exactly what you're after here, but I'll attempt to answer your questions, even though I am a beginner imo.

      1. In my experience, it exists, and the book I am reading (Which can be found here for free: Free: Download Awakening the Third Eye – Clairvision School) is written by an M.D. (medical doctor) so I trust it, but I mostly trust it because of the results I have had.

      2. I don't think the third eye has a mind of it's own. But generally, when the energy centers around the third eye are stimulated, you can feel throbbing, pulsing,. pressure, vibration, or a number of other feelings in between the eye brows. A sense of awareness is also experienced as can a slowing of time. What feels like a half hour can often be a few minutes (though I have only experienced the slowing of time during meditation, and then in the ensuing hours afterwards).

      3. Just don't focus on it. You cannot reverse a bodily function. It's just there. Either you ignore it or you use it, up to you.

Finally, if you are simply feeling you may have a health issue, why not see the doctor?

      1) Yes, it exists.

      2) I have no idea what you mean by "health issue."

      3) Your third eye opens and closes all the time.

      4) Close your third eye by ignoring what it sees.

Yes. It is possible for you to have a third eye... Obviously there are several health issues associated with it.

Martha Constantine-Paton & Law have studied this in 1978. Constantine-Paton knew that because the optic nerves are completely crossed, the optic tectum on each side has input from only one eye. Once you open and use your third eye, the eye would have probably sent connections to one of these tecta which would now have to accomodate the new input. This will compete with the information sent by the normal eye. this competition will result in the formation of one neural column for each eye.

In short: because the connections of the third eye are shared with your other eye, these two eyes will compete for synaptic space, leading to the formation of alternating bands of connections.

Woah, that's pretty fascinating stuff Tim. And it's definitely a medical problem for some minority of the population, I can imagine. But, you know... we aren't talking about a literal third eye.

Also, I saw this thread and looked down to the one where someone asked for help opening their third eye. All I can add is to look through that thread, and do the opposite of what everyone says.

Big chance this thread was a parody of that open-the-third-eye thread anyway to watch them inner sanctum folks's reactions.. So if I were going to troll this place, why not with something real and interesting

Oh, probably. Nothing wrong with having a little fun I suppose.

Besides, the first post was 15 days ago, he's gotten his answer by now.
