Why do your chakras vibrate at night?

Well ever since i been meditating my chakras vibrate. sometimes just for a few minutes and sometimes for an hour. What is this strange phenomenon? Why does this happen? When I lay down my third eye vibrates when I'm about to go to sleep. Then after I meditate they all vibrate. It's like your sitting on vibrating chair but just in that area where your chakras are.

Totally normal and a good sign! :). Me and my wife very often are vibrating that way for many hours at a time. It is not really a physical vibration, but the energy can cause muscles to twitch. Sound like you are doing your meditaions right. Have fun.

Well, I guess it's good then. I think most of my chakras all of my chakras are activated. Right now I'm working on brow chakra. I like switching around. When I feel like it got enough attention I focus on a different chakra.

I would be interested to know how if/how you would isolate each and control them. My dreams indicate that a couple of my chakras are experiencing blockage and I would really like to be able to hone in on that in meditation. Still beginning :meditate:

It seems that if the chakras are always there they would be active, just at different frequencies. Then you could sense any frequency depending on personal sensitivity. I remember the one time ive successfully executed a WILD, my entire body was buzzing like a high power electricity line, crazy awesomeness. :)

I will be willing to teach this stuff in detail, as an advanced topic in my dream Yoga class. I know that does not help today. Check out the class, learn the basic and intermediate skills, which have and will be posted. Then watch for the Advanced Topic: Kundalini. That is a ways off though. For now, I will give you just a few pointers that may help. They are most easily viewed as wave lengths. You are the radio, chakras are radio broadcasts, your efforts are to 'tune in' your radio to specific stations. That is a simple way to view it.
Each chakra will have a color and sound that can be used to help you tune in on the exact frequancy. Do not accept anyone else's version of which colors or sounds are related to each! Start at the bottom and learn to focus on it first and work up. When focused on the 1st (lower) chakra in meditation, feel motion carrying you in an upward direction, and picture yourself looking up your spine (energy column) then follow it up to the next one. Learn which sound and colors each cause in your own experience, and use them as tools to tune in next time.
OK, that is enough for now. You are welcome to start the class and then take part in the Kundalini lesson. The advanced lessons will only be open to students in good standing.
