DMT/Pineal Gland - anyone know about DMT?

has anyone experimented with DMT etc in order to activate pinneal gland and hallucinations etc? i have just purchased some (Peruvian Ayahuasca Vine [Banisteriopsis caapi]) and wondering if there is more i need as im not sure what ingridients it contains, as i know there are many diffrent plants that contain DMT. but apparently your supposed to take it with MAOIs. im hoping someone reads this that undrestands what im talking about to offer some advice from exprence

Dmt can be found in thousands of plants, I know a guy who supposedly extracts it himself. He also described the experience. It is often associated with seeing white light before a near death experience. You will experience extremely weird (sometimes frightening) hallucination, then after a while white light might start building up in your vision. It is very short lasted and you will have trouble remebering anything after the white light. I think some people take it to help make their dreams more vivid.

If you are in fact planning on smoking DMT, I hope you have prior experience with psychedelic drugs and are completely confident in your mental well being. I have no experience with it, nor am I currently interested, but those who have lead me to believe it is a very intense experience.

DMT can be vaporized by itself. What you're looking for with those ingredients is the full Ayahuasca experience, which is a little bit different. You should make sure to research into that name specifically if you want to be prepared for what you're doing. Vaporized it will last 10-15 minutes tops (15 minutes is a long time for most people), orally it is inactive unless taken with a MAOI. Once used this way it depends on the dose of DMT and the dose of the MAOI, but it usually can last up to 4-6 hours. Though the DMT part is of course still the same, the way the trips express themselves are different. Make sure you look into the right one for you. im hoping someone reads this that undrestands what im talking about to offer some advice from exprence I've only vaporized it. It's extremely intense and comes on very quickly, not as quickly as salvia (for me, anyway) but pretty fast. The speed of the visuals will be like salvia, if you've ever tried it, but other than that and duration I wouldn't say they're comparable. The visuals are like shrooms in the way they're formed, but unlike them in content. Absolutely nothing will prepare you for a breakthrough, and as was said before if you reach that point you likely won't remember much, if any, at least at first. That takes some experience. Just try to go into it with an open mind, DMT is one of the least controllable psychedelics. Also, don't expect it to be anything like dreaming, lucid or non-lucid. It's not.

If this gets deleted I'll PM you If you extract the DMT from the vine (look up extraction processes online, I'm not going to give a course on drug extraction) you can smoke the extract, this is most effective when using screens because you don't smoke it like marijuana, you essentially want to boil or melt it, and the liquid form will imbed itself in the screens and vaporize. The most effective way to smoke DMT is by using a bong and stuffing the bowl with brillo, as brillo is the best at trapping and heating the DMT. If you wish to ingest it, you will need MAOIs to block the enzyme that destroys the DMT. Ayahuasca Tea is a combination between two vines, one with DMT and the other with natural MAOIs.

It seems like the best advice on using supplements and various mood-enhancing drugs to aid in dreaming is just not to use them at all. From everything I've read, you will more likely affect your waking visions and experience hallucinations which are not a component of dreaming. As this does not pertain to the world of dreaming I'm going to recommend this thread end.
