If I were you, I would focus on mindful practice. I have accomplished a lot of inner peace, focus and confidence through deep attention to mindfulness. Honestly I had a lot of difficulty communicating with people because I had so much trouble focusing before I started to practice mindfulness. It made me much more charismatic because I was able to focus on my thoughts while speaking. Mindfulness is basically giving space to your watching self and the identity it watches. Experience everything completely and let your experience shine through your judgment of it. It's a little difficult to articulate but I may be able to find some good resources online. If you want to buy a book Eckhart Tolle has written a lot of good things on the subject, along with Thich Naht Hanh

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

alot of people seem to be saying that it just happens and that it is silly to try and make it happen or ask for a technique.

but what i mean when asking how to do it or for a technique is not how to force it or make it happen, i mean i want it to happen so what is a technique to work towards it.

like is it best to work on the energy body and opening the chakras or what?

because it seems like it is something that will naturaly happen but it will not just happen one day, i think you would need to do lots of chakra work and maybe yoga or something.

Expand your awareness. Expand your awareness of your body and it's connection to the world around you. Expand your awareness of your mind and it's connection to the world around you. Expand you awareness of the world around you and it's connection to the universe as a whole. Expand your awareness of the self and what it's really there for. Honest, constant, raw inquiry is really all there is to it, all the fancy techniques are just tricks to get you to expand your awareness in ways you wouldn't otherwise think of, since most people are caught in a massive thought loop they call the real world.

The body possesses innate intelligence apart from what you think of as your persona, and it's important to remember that the cells that make you up are ancient. Real yoga only starts once your body becomes emancipated from the tyrannical individual self of this lifetime. Until then, diligently practice being real Learn and integrate the truths written down in ancient times such as the upanishads and flower garland sutra, learn the mechanics behind qigong and energy work from many different traditions, recognize the worth in every sort of art, and then leave it all behind and innovate!

Qwer, Kundalini can be learned. You are correct when you said earlier that if you do not seek it, you may live your life and never have it awaken on its own. People over state the risk. They probably do this either to act like they know, but can't teach. So they can say "I know the secrets, but i will not risk you hurting yourself, so I will say nothing and sound wise." That is one option, another for older times was a way to make the training more rare, and getting more students.

What are the risks? Pain is a risk. It is a petty small risk, who lets a little pain keep them from doing something? What do I mean by pain? If you really activate this energy it must move through channels in the energy body. In an untrained beginner these channels have shrivelled. The initial movement of energy through a dried out shrunken channel is a very aggressive violent feeling if you amp up before your ready. This mostly feels like an ache and burning. If you start to hurt, you can just stop and slow down a bit. The pain goes awway in very little time. When the channels are healthy again you will not get this form of pain. A second source of pain is an effect like being on an electroshock table. This is from moving to much energy along the spinal colum. This can cascade and cause you to jerk around some. It hurts about like a mild taser. It is not horrible and again if it happens you can stop doing what ever caused it although you may keep spasming fro a few minutes. This is something that happens only after you have opened a path and completed the 'awakening' it also goes away after your body is ready. The third kind of pain is caused by burning through obstructions and forcing your way into the knots in order to untangle them. This feels about like a cigerette burn taking place on one small point. Damb painful, but no worse than dumb kids games like getting an Indian burn. I have never regretted the small bits of pain involved in the process, so do not let that stop you.

There are other risks! You should have a stable and sound mind before awakening kundalini. The effect is very energetic and you change your whole mental process and sense of self. It is great for most people, but a confused angery person may just end up crazy if they unlease mystical forces in their life.

The final warning is that you can use the power unwisely and facee larger amounts of karma. I was granted a private meeting with one of the top officals in a certain religion when I was about 17 or 18. He knew i was already excelling at kundalini with out a guru. His warning was "that it is like giving a teen a fancy sports car and little instruction. Either he was going to get where he needed to be extreamly fast, or he was going to cause a wreck." The normal person puts out a small amount of energy so if they focus hate at the neighbors they are building a small amount of negative karma. If a kundalini student focuses his powers and directs them in a bad way, the level of karma expands. Simply, if your intent can not harm a fly it warents no notice from the universe. However, if your hateful intent is backed by massive amount of mystical force, the universe is going to give you all the negative energy back, as if you only managed to curse yourself.

I can not praticipate in this thread, because it has had a kind of competitive feeling to it. Kind of I know, you don't know vibe. I will reveal that by most standards I would be a fully trained master. I refuse to accept or seek any recognition so the title will not be applied to me here.

Final words for now on the topic. I will be taking some students and allowing them access to any training and info they need. This will be done via DVA. It will not be available to most members. The time and effort involved is great. I do not want to spend the time trying to teach random bits to anyone who asks. The class will be conducted by PM only and only students who have diligentlly studied and practiced my Dream Yoga skills will be allowed.

The offer is open for everybody! Start a notebook in the Dream Yoga Class part of DVA and show me you are actually reading and trying the lessons. the Kundalini lessons are still months away though. this is to give my students time to learn and grow. None of this stuff should be rushed.

I also offer that if any members do not want people to know they are taking the class, then they can PM me the things that would normally go in a note book and I will keep it quiet.

I think its at least partially new/altering of ones "filter" of the world. I've just got some twisted off stuff I need to get away from. In one way I never will, but I have good hopes for this year personally in that I will make great steps to fill the gap I feel the need to do so.

I can recommend the LOVE ENERGY CENTERS website. They offer what are called evolutionary Love Bursts Classes. Using the energies of Unconditional Love, they safely teach one how the use the Love energies in an orgasm to heal oneself and expand consciousnesss. This does not have to be a long process. You will enjoy reading people's experience reports.

From what I heard on dream views a while ago it sounded like a bad thing but what I just heard lots of people saying in YouTube it sounded amazing.

Also how do you do it? I understand it's a very long process.
But what are some DVDs on REAL kundalini yoga and meditation?
      Hi Qwer,

Raising Kundalini is very important for our further spiritual development and evolution into high beings. Yes, you are right, it is a very long process. However, if you maintain spiritual practice under the guidance of a proper Guru, it will be easy for you to awaken your Kundalini and further processes will take not so much time. Only Guru can guide us correctly and help us achieve higher realms. Some practitioners spend years in seacrh of a proper Guru, that how he is important for proper spiritiual development. I hope it will help you, Qwer)

Since this is a necro'd thread but the response is timely, I'm going to copy this over to the 'risks of meditation' thread so that people can respond there if they want to.
