Monks and yogis do really long meditations because they are used to meditating for such long periods. If you don't meditate 24/7 already, or have experience meditating for long periods, I don't see what the point is? If you fall asleep you aren't meditating correctly in the first place, so intentionally giving yourself discomfort is useless. You will just be irritable. Work your way up. |
