Ever met your False Twin Flame?

Metaphysically Speaking: False Twin Flames

To briefly summarize soul mate and twin flame theory (which I always read with a grain of salt but imaginatively delve into once in a while)

A soul mate is someone you have shared past lives with. The roles can switch every now and then. There is always a deep rapport with this person or people.

A twin flame (as the theory goes as dictated by spirits from channeling, which is usually quite unreliable at best.) is one half of your soul. When your soul came from "The Source" it split in two. The soul develops as a separate soul through many lifetimes. Twin flame souls aren't fully united on earth until they have both reached a lifetime where their soul is developed enough that it is time to move on from this plane. They unite here for a purpose as lovers, their love is supposed to be inspiring or something.

However. Now there is a theory that a false twin soul exists. This could just really be an energy vampire. or it could really be your twin soul, just that they aren't as spiritually developed as you.

Have you ever met your false twin flame? Here is a checklist (quoted right from the half assed blog I posted.)

Now last year I briefly dated a girl, who i am convinced is this false twin. How did I come to this conclusion? Well not having a rational explanation as to why she left, why i felt for her even though I knew she was bad news, why after such a long time of no contact, ad infinitum. I eventually sought a completely irrational explanation, which actually describes the situation pretty well. I actually feel quite healed by finding this information out.

*you obsess/daydream about them check. if you call every day for almost a year thinking about them compulsively.

overpowering sexual energy exchange - whil;e we never got physical, I did have a few crazy sex dreams about her which were very vivid and intense.

feel anxious or nervous talking to them on phone, by email, or in person - check.


they come into your dreams often (usually comes with messages to pay attention to) - check, not only did she come into my dreams often, they actually reflected her actions quite often with a precog quality.

they create distance between you by never being fully available or responsible for actions - check. She would quite often play hot and cold. whenever i wouldn't play her game she would ask me what my problem was...

controlling and manipulation tactics - yes. she would say things like "I'll miss you.... but everyone becomes attatched to me." or "I'll really be your friend.... until I have to leave haha" not to mention the times where if I would call her on her crap, she'd flip out and try to reframe it as my problem.

unexplained series of bad luck
*other areas of your life not flowing as well as before they came into your life - check and check. She moved away the exact same day I had to move out from my basement. I moved in with my dad and he was very psychologically abusive, I got involved in really bad drug trips (Also she had taken a very dangerous dose of drugs after she moved in which she lost her purse and wallet. bad luck for her too!). when I moved out my roommates ripped off all of my stuff, then she moved back to town. and when I moved again closer to her vicinity she moved away AGAIN. like her moves mirrored my actions perfectly.

*feeling disoriented, emotionally drained, tired, or worried for no reason when you are in their company or think of them - yes... even when I hung out with her I begged for my obsession to be removed. and when she moved away these feelings rapidly intensified and a year later I am just now getting rid of all that energy.


*they will cuddle you to sleep then distance themselves. this is when the feeding occurs. a true twin does not require this physical closeness as the only way to connect - again I never really got physically close to her but I would often have dreams where I'd wake up to find her cuddling me, and when she noticed I had woken up she would quickly leave the room.

*they cannot look you in the eyes for extended time or will give a look of suspicion - check.

*they manipulate your time by being late, cancelling plans at last moment, saying they will call and don't, etc., this is done to get your reaction! your energy...
*they blame you for your their behavior or bring up something in the past you may have done to use as leverage - check and check. I recall a time she wanted to do LSD with me. we had planned for the whole day. She cancelled at 1 am LOL. so i went to work the next day instead to earn overtime pay. She never showed up at work AND when I checked my phone after work she had spammed me with messages saying she had changed her mind. she made promises to call after I had that abusive episode with my father, but turned me down to watch a movie with her friend instead. and when I confronted her on it, she again tried to reframe it as my problem and that she didn't deserve to be called a liar.

*they will show up again the moment you let them go * check and check. she did apologize a handful of times, but always flipped it around later as my problem. Also half assed explanations of things was her middle name.

I'd hate to be a Negative Nancy here but I think I'd classify that as a Crush. Maybe on the Heavy side of Crush.

Not that I'm inexperienced in the concept, in fact it's my experience of it that has lead me to this skepticism of the whole Soulmate/Twinflame concept. Enough emotion was involved. enough coincidences, enough significance that of course it had to be significant and the blistering pain of distance from the other person left me reeling because of course, it had to be significant. It was my own attachment to the significance that the idea of the Twinflame spawns which caused such pain. I was only released from the pain when I gave up on such significance. Because of course, if I had such a thing, she had to be it. But she just wasn't. At the end of it all, she just wasn't. But it didn't kill my ability to love, as I dreamt it would.

Rather, it's like the old Sufi saying, "The world continues to break your heart until it stays open."

My understanding and experience is that a twin flame is generally just another soul that we have been married to in other lifetimes. Generally we have a few that are alive on Earth when we are and it is not guaranteed that we will meet one or which one/ones we will meet.

I have met a twin flame that wasn't & isn't meant to be with me in this lifetime. It was, and to some extent, still is the most painful, dreadful experience I have had in my life. Fortunately for me I have had the opportunity where several angels were able to explain to me the dynamics of this horrible realtionship with this woman.

They expalined to me what happened between me and this woman when we were married a few hundred years ago. They said that I had to meet her and have her in my life, without beng in a relationship with her, so that I could learn to trust a woman again and to learn how to love again.

Love can feel like heaven on Earth but it can also feel like Hell on Earth too. Because of this woman I know what love at first sight feels like. I also know what a twin flame attraction is like. And I also know how it feels to truly hate someone because of the utterly despicable way this woman has treated me.

This woman now deeply regrets the way she has treated me and now loves me as I love her but the angels have warned me on several occassions to stay away from this woman as she is not the twin flame for me in this lifetime and that I must look for another twin flame. This is not an easy thing for me to accept and deal with but as the weeks, months and years go by I am more open to the advanced wisdom that these angels have.

I first learned about it with new age. But really, the story of Twin Flames is found in the hindu religion. Im sure they call it something else.

The story starts with One. That One split itself into two, creating the masculine and feminine divinity. This divine cellular division of self continues on for a thousand million fold.

What we call Twin Flame is the soul that is your immediate and opposite yin-yang reflection. But that doesn't mean only one person in the whole of the universe is your Twin Flame. This is a sacred geometry process. Its a fractal, it reflects itself infinitely backwards and forwards.

Take for example Hindu deities. Krishna and Lakshmi represent divine masculine and feminine and they are reflections of the one supreme Brahman. One becomes Two. Krishna can be born as a 1000 human beings simultaneously. Lakshmi can be born as a 1000 human beings simultaneously. Theres no number limit for the Hindu deities. Eventually all human beings are a form of one the Hindu deities, which themselves are a form of a higher divinity, who is a form of brahman.

In this example, if you are one of the 1000 krishnas in human form then you have 1000 twin flames born through Lakshmi. Not to mention that Krishna or Lakshmi is also your twin flame. There isn't just "one" person meant for you. But there might be "one" person you promised yourself to for this one lifetime.

The human soul is on a journey of self-discovery, part of that means reuniting with our twin flame - our reflection. This doesn't just mean marrying the person of our dreams. Eventually this means reuniting with our higher self - that hindu deity from who you sprang and so on.

Marriage for the hindu culture parallels divine union of masculine and feminine and realization of self. Rather than placing all the emphasis on your twin flame making you magically complete, this human union of marriage is simply an opportunity to experience what divine union could be like. This leads us to tantra.

But whether or not you reach such realization of your divine self is still entirely up to you and not your twin flame.

The other flipside of twin flames are the flames that are literally the same yin-yang reflection as you. (versus opposite yin-yang reflection) These same-flames are those special friends you can understand without saying words. It may not be a romantic, but when you are with these friends they also give you a deep sense of self. When you meet such a friend you know you can't help but love them for the rest of your life.

Now I'm confused. did she come back into your life? or make an attempt? and then your Angels told you to not go near her? and another question have you ever seen 111, or 11:11 around her or thoughts of her? and how do you know angels are speaking to you?

Well I don't know what higher self is. so i do not claim to want to merge with it. I'm just a single lonely guy, who wants some action to stay in his life.

I find the attraction and bond-ship to the higher self is exactly the connection we are looking for when we seek a loving relationship. Instead of the higher self, you may think of it as Life Itself, the Moment, or anything else.

Goddamn. Every single one checked. To the T. It's a little eerie and bizarre.

I should mention that Quite recently... I've gotten over this one. I've made considerable efforts to let it go. The only thing that won't give up is the dreams. I don't think or worry much about her during the day anymore.. but god, the dreams. they are almost nightly now.

This is the biggest issue for me. I still think about her periodically during the day but it's when the subconscious takes a hold at night that things become...for lack of a better term: soul-crushing. I never really had much in the way of nightmares, even dealing with "terrifying" monsters doesn't compare to the EMOTIONAL nightmares I've been suffering.

This might be a little...off-topic, but its on the subject of "getting over it." Now, I am a writer and have been searching for a way to put everything on paper to find some sort of catharsis. The idea is to essentially partake in wish-fulfillment writing by stealing a lot of ideas and concepts from famous works (Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Game of Thrones) and insert her and me (as well as various aspects of ourselves personified over other characters). I've had conflicting support from my close friends who are torn between it being a wonderful idea, and a bad one that will just give her more "power." (I also left out the part that when this story/novel is finished, I'm going to print one hardback copy and mail it to her)

I guess I'm just asking you to weigh in on this one, MoS.

That's whacked... I've also written a lot about my experience... it's not finished yet. but just about. I also had the idea of sending it to her. but I wouldn't want to feed her ego. perhaps we should swap stories when done...

I wrote out the entire sequence of events from when I met her to when I finally realized the shit just wasn't gonna happen no matter what I did and torturing myself a second longer would not fix a thing.

11 months of my life, I suffered over this girl for 11 months. And the pain was enough to challenge everything I believed. It changed me forever. Writing it all out helped immensely.

The shittiest thing about my situation is that I had the foresight and knew exactly what I was dealing with and precisely how it would end. I knew her for years and saw firsthand how she treated and drained everyone she came in contact with, and STILL, stupidly, I was eager to jump headfirst into shark infested waters. Shows how much I know.

Yes you are a negative nancy and it's quite unwarranted. First of all it wasn't me who initially attatched any significance to her. It WAS synchronicity and dreamed that SCREAMED... I mean Literally screamed... no.. that doesn't quite sum it up actually. Like an Atom bomb going off with a giant arrow pointing at her. I FOUGHT it the ENTIRE time. I've had long held crushes that lasted years, fallen in love, and lost it many many many times. And NONE OF THEM, even compare to what happened to my universe once this person was THROWN AT ME by the universe. There is no way to accurately describe it... you have to experience it for yourself.

As I said. I fought it the entire time. I knew she didn't give a fuck about me, was a player, age difference, etc etc. I begged on my knees and prayed to whatever higher power there is to please remove whatever obsession i had for her. I even spent a period avoiding her at work and completely ignoring her because I knew it was trouble. Then she intitially came forward and asked me for drinks. The only thing I really did was give her a chance.. well more than one.. or two. many chances.. to which every single one she messed up.

On an average day with her around I wouldn't just experience one synchronicity... but many in a row on a daily basis. Even when I was saying "no, no,no," it would still happen. for example, one night I dreamed a female hand handed me a note saying "I love you." while I was at work. Next day while at work she handed me a note... not a love note from her, but from a CSM. as I walked out the door ignoring her, i had a random Elvis song stuck in my head for no reason, I went outside and someone walked by with an elvis shirt, then a minute a later I found a dollar on the ground. this was just an average day when she was around.

I initally didn't want it to go anywhere, I would have been perfectly happy just to have her as another face that comes and goes from my line of work... but daily she was being SCREAMED at me. like literally screamed at me by the universe. I don't think it was me initially attatching sgnificance to her... but the significance was atatched entirely from the spirit realm. At the time i belived I had spirit guides who would communicate with me in dreams. I had come up with an LOA checklist for and ideal girl. I pointed out that she came short of my list. But they kept giving me dream messages and synchronicity, and repeating numbers (see mid-wayers) until I was coerced. and when I say coerced... I really mean it. A couple times, after she had played stupid games with me and I was ready to tell her to fuck off, A car would almost run me over in the parking lot (I was a cart pusher at wal mart).

So yeah I gave her a chance. and she royally fucked it up, (either deliberately but i really think she had no idea what she was doing in the first place). The amount of pain I went through when it was all over could have been handled better. If I would have ignored the universal SCREAMING i may have avoided pain. If she had been more truthful or direct with me, there might have been a lot of pain avoided as well.

I don't by the twin flame thing 100% either. nowadays when i think about it, It seems more like whatever beings I thought I was in communication weren't exactly what they claimed to be. Yes I mean biblical DEVILS if you will. Every culture has them and all agree that beings in the spirit world are tricksters.

I hate to say it (because I know how much this means to you), but I'm with OD. You crush really hard, man, and I can sympathize. I've completely fallen for the wrong girl, too, and yes, it fucks with your head when things go south. (I'm currently working with mine, too, and I get to deal with the mindfuck of having been the one to get her the job there, in the first place. No bueno. Talk about murder on the conscience.)

If you ask me (and I know you didn't), your Susan Glenn just happened to be 'the wrong girl'. Happens all the time, trust me. It goes against all logic, all better judgement, and indeed, transcends consciousness (into your subconscious). Every strange happening becomes somehow related to her (even if the relation was completely dubious). Every thought somehow morphs its way back to being about her.

You don't have to agree, but just know that the situation I'm explaining is absolutely common, and it very often creates the same sorts of emotions and perceptions as you are describing.

Yeah it seems like you argued my point for me, Man of Shred. You were caused to like her due to synchronicity, but that doesn't mean that the love was significant or special. You were just tricked into thinking so, making it harder to let it go. But I don't think it was Demons or whatever controlling the situation. My experience made me better. If I could let go of her, I could let go of anything. It freed me.

Yeah I've experienced this, recently, In fact I just now decided to completely let the girl go, Its the only way i could stop getting hurt.

I had a weird recent experience. While driving home I was meditating on what a twin flame means for me. You see, there was this guy I just met and there was definately a weird synchronicity in how we met. As soon as I get home he's calls me, "hey lets hang out".

The instant I hear "hey" I get this immense and intense feeling that makes my heart race..................
ITS WRONG, ITS ALL WRONG! Hes not the one. Seriously thats what I felt.

There was nothing wrong with his voice. There was nothing wrong with anything he said. But the feeling was clear. I feel sick! I start to panic! I don't want to go with him.

I shake it off and I logically tell myself I barely know him so how can I judge him like that? So, I hang out with him. Damn.

We hang out. End. Its over. Never ever again. After our "hang out" I felt gross all over. Just like I did the instant I heard his voice in the phone convo. Except now I know why.

I can't give any good advice on this twin flame stuff. But even this was a learning lesson. If I can get some sort of emotional psychic premonition that its ALL WRONG before I know why its all wrong - then maybe the opposite also true? Its just nice to know that I can trust my intuition. :3

Uh....I dont think thats advice everyone here can follow, lol. For a lot of people intuition just seems to lead you astray. All I can say is pay more attention to feeling someones energy when they talk. Theres a lot hidden in that voice.
