I've had a lot of fun with them. It's very impressive when the glass moves and it's not obvious that someone is moving it deliberately.
I wouldn't reccommend it, based on your beliefs. I am surprised that you are asking this.
I used one once. Apparently the ghost we were contacting had the hots for me. Coincidentally, so did the girl who was participating with us.
Or someones subconscious at work.
A friend used one once and strange things started happening around her home. But her property had strange things happen on it before. I am to scared to try it because I don't need to let anything attach it's self to me or open doors I can't close. If you dabble, you set yourself up for being messed up. If you contact something demonic remember that it has been in existence forever and you are nothing to it, it is incredibly strong (stronger than you) and it'll find pleasure it harming you. I'd pray for protection if you do use one.
I havent used one my self, but a woman at work says she has and will never ever again as it really messed with one of her mates. Her mate pulled out a knife and stated running around with it screaming in religious context apparently.
Anyone interested in ouija or pendulums should research the "ideomotor effect".
I used one... and it seemed to be working, but I think I was just communicating with my spirit guardian through my subconscious. He told me to start learning to LD, which wasn't something I'd ever been interested in before that. So basically I was moving it and I didn't realize it! That would mean it wasn't actually the Ouija board working. Accidental cheating?
They say that ouija's, being that when common folk like us use them, it's essentially the same thing as just leaving the door to your house wide open and letting anyone walk in.
I do believe they work... I used one in my teens. Before I started this, my house was fine and normal. Around the time I was dabbling with this stuff, we had a few occurances happened. Nothing horribly scary, just odd.
If you want to use one, then make absolutely sure you have a good relationship (and are able to communicate) with your spirit guide. They will have to control access to the board.
These things do not cause mean demons etc in your house unless you let it, If you don't know how to use them correctly then don't use them at all. I would recommend saying a protective prayer before you use it. These things are not dangerous, Negative energy will effect the spirit that is brought to you. I wouldn't recommend using one of these unless you truly know what your doing and your not just joking around with it. Always remember to respect the spirit you are communicating with and always move the planchette to goodbye when finished.

It always works for me. Once I asked it what a basketball team would score in a certain game and it worked (88 points), it also predicted Sanjaya leaving American Idol. Nothing unusual has happened to me or my house as a result of it.
I'm thinking of testing out the sports things again, and if it works 2 more times I will start betting.
powerball anyone? :P
Things only happen to people because they want it to happen. If you believe the board will cause demons to come get you then you will start getting a little paranoid from something falling that would not have scared you when not using it. It's the little things that happen and the stories that are the cause of these small paranoias.
I want to get an iPhone, but I'm not getting one.
I'm not asking the Ouija board to do supernatural things like having demons come out. I ask it questions about what will happen in the future. I can't will something to happen so much that it will, otherwise I'd be a millionaire with an iPhone.
O'nus was saying something about testing being done with this board, and the people were all blind folded and every single one of them could not make any sense in what they were saying (another reason to be skeptic if this happens to you when doing experimenting). I have tried this board MANY times and the outcome is always the same one, one that is gory, even when not asking it those questions like "what is going to happen to me", even talking to a friendly spirit on the board. Our whole mindset was to play on it the worst way, but also ask questions. They turn from good to violent. It's a way to manifest your subconscious and show everyone we enjoy scaring eachother alot. I ALWAYS got the worst in this board, it's a load of crap! it's just a tool to release your subconscious and tell yourself what you really think of things.
I know for a fact you don't move this board consciously, in the many times i tested it with others our fingertips BARELY even was on the board, and the middle of the board can sometimes be a pain in the butt when the piece moves, there is a force that moves it, and if the middle of the board has a bump in it, the piece may force itself off the board. It's just a way to tap into your own mind. It's not some ghost thing like people think, the bad stuff only happens because you ant it to happen, and it's also a fact that bad stuff happens if you are looking for bad things to happen to you.
This went OT to what you were saying, but you wont get many answers you hoped for on this board.
There is a "force" that moves it? It's made by a toy company, not Harry Potter.
I'm baffled at how it works, maybe it is your subconscience that moves it, but then how does my subconscience know that a basketball team would score 88 points?
I never ask it questions about myself or other people. Sometimes the truth is a painful thing. But sometimes it can win you bets :)
When you try it, you'll understand. Like i said, i have done it many times. But there definatly is some type of force that moves it because it was not us consciously, we barely had our fingertips on it, and you would have noticed some squeezing at the fingertips. I have not touched it in 13 years anyway. The whole thing to the board is to lightly touch the piece with your fingertips, not fully put your fingers on it. I dunno how it works by yourself, i never could do it by myself. But i don't believe that demon mumbo jumbo.
A couincidence.Quote:

I have tried using the Ouija board. Could the squeezing on your fingertips possibly be your fingers touching the moving piece slightly harder in effect to move the piece by means of your subconscience?
As for the basketball scores, you say it is a coincidence? I will try it again and see what happens.
Could be, i dunno. I'm down to hearing anything logical. I just know neither of us ever forced the thing to move that i can recall consciously. Of course i was 12 at the time, i could be wrong as it was so long ago, this now contradicts what i said before though.
Make a whole list. Couincidences happen all the time. I would not be able to take your word for it, though. This is online afterall.Quote:
