      Aliens

      Do you believe in aliens?

I think aliens exsist because Space is so vast and huge that i believe it would be impossible for there to not be life out there. Now do i believe that aliens are comming down in flying saucers and abducting us (well no). But do i think that there is some other type of organism out there? Yes.

Pretty much what you said. There has to be at least some form of life somewhere out there, even if it is just a micro-organism. Europa perhaps?

Definitely. How could there not be? The oppurtunities seem endless.

I believe there is species out there right now far more advanced than ourselves. Humans are just taking their first steps out of the jungle, really.

Earth is stone age (probably) compared to some other planets.

We are still fighting against each other, and imagine if we all got along.
Then we would all go towards more technology. There's probably a whole galaxy that communicate together, give each other resources, cooperate, etc. and we are just sitting here...On our little planet

Comets and Meteorites have been found to be carrying organic molecules and compounds. A theory is that life on earth was sparked by meteors crashing into the planet carrying organic molecules carried from the far reaches of space.

We also already have hints of microbial life within our own solar system beyond earth.

Hate to get all religious, but my religion teaches that 144,000 people will rule as priests and kings with Christ in the heavenly government (bringing the rest of mankind into perfection after the destruction of all things bad including death) for 1,000 years.
What about after that time? The Bible doesn't specify and my religion goes no further than what is Written.
But, to my line of thinking... after a long, long time Earth will start getting crowded. It's my personal belief that the anointed ones (the 144,000) will help create planets that can sustain human population.
I try to imagine what such worlds would be like. Would they be cookie cutter shaped "Earth's" or would they be unique and add to the joy and knowledge of perfected mankind.
I try to imagine world's completely alien from our own (i.e. a green sky is still a SKY and mushrooms may grow enormous but they'd still be mushrooms or "trees")

So..... long reply short... I don't think there is currently any life out there (not intelligent life anyhow), but I think the possibilities for the future are endless.

Aliens somewhre out in the universe? Definitely. Aliens which exist on some other dimensional universe? Probably. Aliens which are able to physically visit Eath? That's a tough one.

While no one can doubt the existence of UFOs, their origins are still unknown. The US and other big powers have had a history of keeping the newest technology completely secret from their citizens. My dad told me a story about someone back in his hometown who flew a stealth plane before anyone else ever knew what they were. The guy's own wife had no idea he was flying anything like that. So it wouldn't surprise me if we had some really crazy good stuff and the government is just holding out on us so that they don't tip their hand to other countries (and vice versa).

Aside from that, there are a lot of other interesting coincidences and events which point to something far beyond the scope of humanity. For example, many pieces of ancient artwork depict beings or aircraft which look like the modern UFOs. So IMO, if we are being visited, it's been going on for a very long time.

Yes. The scale of the universe is nothing short of mind-fucking-blowing phenomenal, and even that's an understatement. How recently we've discovered electricity and fields of force. A few hundred years of smart thinking. Does anyone understand how remarkably short that is? We don't understand the mechanism by which the fundamental forces of physics operate. We can mess around with electromagnetism, not with gravity. Not yet. We're getting there. The possibilities of technological development are virtually endless. Something like long distance space travel may become something of a problem for toddlers to meddle with in whatever education programs we'd be running in a (hundred)thousand years.

To be fair, you also have to acknowledge how incredibly unlikely it is for life to form in the first place, though.

      Uhh lets seee

We are only one little planet revolving around ONE LITTLE NOT SO SPECIAL STAR in a galaxy with hundreds of thousands of stars. Do you have any idea how many of those stars carry planetary systems? You guessed it, its well into the hundreds of thousands.

That number alone, no personal offense to you, is too big for any human to really see and understand in their minds eye.

What does this mean? It means the chances of intelligent life in our galaxy alone is phenomenal!!

THAT IS ONE GALAXY. JUST ONE.

      THERE ARE BILLIONS OF GALAXIES!!

And you honestly believe that there is no intelligent life out there......because of a book written by human hands in a time period when we didn't even know there are BILLIONS OF GALAXIES? That is willfull ignorance.

This is our galaxy and those glittering points of light are STARS. Our sun, our star, is very tiny. Which is why it doesn't have it's own glowing point on this picture. Instead the arrow just points to a smudge. And you would have to zoom in on that smudge for some time before you find our star - our sun.

The brilliant points of light on this picture are NOT stars. They're not even galaxies. They are CLUSTERS of galaxies. You have to zoom in on this picture a bit more to see the individual galaxies. But this picture does not represent the Universe. Because this picture is a tiny snippet of the entirety of the Universe. And in the entirety of the Universe, this picture is a smudge.

Even if we only imagine that each galaxy only has one earth like planet, with intelligent life, that is still over 100 billion intelligent planets. But the REALITY is, there is a much greater chance of each galaxy containing more than one planet that harbors life. Nature is fractal.

Fractal means that nature has patterns that repeat themselves throughout. Life on a planet revolving around a sun-star is one of those patterns that is destined to repeat itself. The organic material that composes our body was created IN A STAR. The Universe is abundant with stars.........

      To each their own.
I used to believe in "aliens", abductions and I even saw 3 UFO's (the same night).
The Bible doesn't state one way or another so I take a cautiously neutral stand. I think it would be worth a mention, in the Bible, if there were others on other planets but saying would is the same as "could". Just because it isn't mentioned doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I was just sharing my personal views which I find spiritually logical (no oxymoron comment please ) and comforting.

But then again, I believe it's possible that angels and demons exist within our space but in a parallel universe (not something my religion shares).

I'm open to all sorts of possibilities, but I'm egotistical enough to believe that mankind is special in that (for now) we are unique in the universe.

I was on Science Daily and there was an article saying that scientists believe it is likely that there is some forms of life under the ice of one of jupiters moons or something like that. They were saying that the conditions were appropriate for life.

My question is... seeing as human life is carbon based, surviving only with water etc... who are we to say what it takes to support 'life' in other places? All we have to compare is the life we have on earth, but surely that isn't the only 'type' of like possible.

Yeah thats the moon Europa I mentioned earlier. I read that they found patterns on the moon that are similar to the frozen seas under the arctic here on Earth.

Well respected astronauts have claimed they have witnessed extra terrestrials, so who am I to deny it? These are the absolute cream of the crop, most qualified people to make these claims.

I have somewhat been following the events regarding UFOs and find it really
interesting, as well. A while ago I tried to tackle the issue a little more seriously.

Well, not precisely, but I'd imagine quite a few.

Both, number of stars and chances of life being created, are pretty mind-boggling.

No, I'm sorry, but I can't understand you on a logical, intellectual, spiritual or emotional level

How is a lonely universe spiritually logical and comforting? Why would the God that you believe in fill it with nothing? Don't you think your God wants life to exist in all corners of the universe? And don't you think that all of these life forms would have a soul like you? Isn't that more spiritually logical? That souls descend into physical bodies, across the universe, not just on earth?

And isn't it more comforting to know you are a part of a universal family far more amazing than just an earthly one? Just as it is more comforting to know that uh, the world is much bigger than your bedroom?

And do you honestly need the universe to be lonely to feel special? This isn't spirituality here! This is an ego problem that you have that you NEED the universe to be lonely to feel special.

I dont need a lonely universe to be unique! There is only one me in the entire universe!

People have there beliefs that they develope at a young age and if other life wasn't part of there belief than they aren't going to believe in other life. Why would god just make us? Just because it doesn't talk about it in the bible doesn't mean it isn't true.

Because the need to be the center of the universe IS NOT SPIRITUAL. It isn't even religious. It's just a need to have all the attention on you, to have the whole world revolve around you because you are insecure, lack self-love and lack self-respect.

Because like you said, it's not discussed in the bible. No where in the bible does it say that humanity is an exclusive creation. People just like to imagine so, for personal reasons having nothing to do with religion. I don't want to hear people whining "well you can't argue with me because you need to respect my religious view". No I don't. Because it's not a religious view. It's just an emotional problem. If you NEED to be the center of the Universe you really need to sit down and ask yourself WHY.

If you don't love yourself enough you seek validation in the world. And if you really don't love yourself, then you need either the world or the universe to revolve around you. But this silly childish imagination that the whole universe or even the sun must revolve around you, does not replace true self-love.

I am a theist and I am as spiritual as a theist you get around here on these forums and I find a God who fills the Universe with life more amazing and incredible than a God who just creates a lifeless void. Who creates a desert because if God has other children, OH NO YOU'RE GOING TO BE JEALOUS!! (fallen angel complex much?)

      That is a lame God
      .
      My God is greater

Pick your reality. I've picked a greater one. And I am a part of a rich abundant universe. I am a part of a diverse universal family, all who share the same source as I. It's true! All of us! All of us from across the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF GALAXIES, we all have the same source! It doesn't matter if you call that source the singularity that gave birth to all of us or God. Were still intimately related because of the same source we share. That's spirituality. That's religious. That's science. Come feel this amazingness instead!! It's warm and fuzzy.

What are you a part of? A a lifeless universe stretching for 156 billion light years? WOW! That makes no sense even on a religious level. It doesn't. That's like saying that when God created us, we were so bloody special there was nothing else on the earth but us. "Here's your new empty desert Adam!" "Wow thanks God! I love sand!"

Where's the garden? Where's the abundance?...Were humans the only ones multiplying and filling the earth?

And not only is it an insult to yourself, and intelligence, but its also an insult to how GREAT God can be. Because you are LIMITING God for your childish need. By believing the Universe must be empty for yourself, you place God in a box. So on behalf of all the spiritual theists on this forum, Stop Putting God In A Box!

God is more than you can ever dream or fathom and so is the Universe

In the bilble it speaks of the Elohim. Those are aliens.

they came from the skies and had sex with humans. It was a genetic engineering on humans thing, if you believe the Bible.

Personally, I think it is absolutey logical to believe in aliens.

People dig a quarry and hit a spring and the quarry fills up with water and somehow fish find their way there! There are oases in the middle of deserts with fish in them. Life somehow exists wherever it can. There are tubeworms that live in the bottom of the Atlantic ocean that feed off of bacteria that grows from the energy of the lava down there. Wherever it is possible for life to exist, it will find its way there. Life is an unstoppable force.
And maybe not all life is carbon based or biological? Maybe some life is invisible to us. Maybe some life on other planets is crystalline?

I had a dream two nights ago that I saw a poster of a surprised family from the fifties or sixties (like Leave it to Beaver or the Brady Bunch) and there was a UFO parked in their living room. And the caption said: "The Mission is: by 2012 a UFO in every living room"
Somehow the Ufo didn't need to crash through the walls but kind of teleported through the wall but also it was formed out of a mutation of the matter of the wall.

Anyway, there are many ways to look at the Ancient IndoEuropean creation stories. And the "secret" one that is kept by the secret societies is that the Gods were aliens. Aliens came here to get Gold from Africa to use it to save their planet. They modified cro-magnon man to be slaves but then we became like pets to them. For 300,000 years there were around 60 of them on the planet at a time. They had long life spans that lasted around 10-15 human generations. Humans are an alien/cro-magnon hybrid. The headquarters were in Egypt but there were also aliens in Mexico, England, Iraq and India. The aliens gave us grains from their planet and taught us agriculture, art, music, language, mathematics, science, etc. they taught us civilization. They gave us moral codes so that we could live the way they wanted us to and so that we would be good servants.
There were political intrigues going on with the aliens though. There was a space station orbiting the Earth were the alien government was stationed. That is where "Heaven" is. The leaders were concerned that the aliens among the people were getting too friendly with the humans and that the humans were getting too educated and knowledgeable and wouldn't be good servants anymore. So an alien named JHVH (Jahovah) stepped in and told the people not to follow the other alien (who was his brother, but lessor ranking politically) that was in charge of the Arabian Penninsula. His name was "Sin". So JHVH called the followers of Sin sinners. That is where the word sin comes from. Now sin cared about people and was always helping them however he could.

There are two kinds of humans: those that lived with the aliens and followed them and were influenced by them culturally, and those that didn't. It is easy to recognize the pnes who are natural humans that were not influenced by the aliens. They were usually matriarchal. They had chiefs and wisewomen, not kings or queens. The most respected and wise man or woman of the tribe became the chief, it wasn't inherited. They had shamans, not priests or a priest class. They believe that all life is sacred and are animist. They live at one with nature. And they are being wiped out.

There was an original language that humans spoke (and the occupying aliens) that was similar to Sanskrit. But one of the things Jahova did was he genetically tweaked the everyone and made everyone speak different languages and made different races so that people wouldn't be united and couldn't understand each other or be able to communicate.

There was a rebellion forming amongst the aliens of the young gods against the Old Gods and they got the humans to fight for them as well by telling the humans that the other aliens were the enemy gods and that they were evil. People did whatever their gods said because they were dependent on them like dogs are dependent on their masters, both emotionally and physically.

Now the War between the Gods came to a climax only 5,000 years ago when Iraq was nuked. The Gods left, except for Hermes who stayed and helped rebuild. People were traumatized. They felt abandoned. And they still feel abandoned today.

One thing the humans used to do is give their god a barbecue dinner. The Gods loved it. If the people needed rain for their crops they would slaughter a cow and roast it for the alien. The alien would send off one of his helpers to fly his ship and seed the clouds so it would rain.

But when the aliens left people got desperate. they sacrificed cows but the gods didn't return. So they started sacrificing people thinking that it would bring the gods back. Over time, after some genrations people forgot that the Gods were flesh and blood, and the stories became that the Gods were/are supernatural. But the secret socieities believe otherwise. That is one reason why the Knights templar and the freeMasons were persecuted, because they knew that the Gods were flesh and blood. The priest class were used to be the highest class of servants to the aliens who had direct contact with them. But after the aliens left they needed to keep their power so they invented stories about God and that he will return, etc.

Now Jesus came in order to liberate people from JHVH. He also had an unique genetic code to counteract the slave-gene implanted by the aliens. And that is knowledge that the freeMasons have. Jesus's blood line.

Pretty far out story, just as believable as any other interpretation of the Bible. However, if you go back before the Bible to the roots of the Bible, you will find Sumerian scriptures which are much much more clear. They speak of the Annunaki who are the Gods that came from another planet. They came to Earth from out of the sky in giant discs. They had sexual relationships with Earth women (this is in the Bible also).

Egypt has the same stories and so does India and the Aztecs and Mayans in Mexico.

Now we fast forward to the present day. Remember: the aliens lived amongst us for 300,000 years and they have only been gone for 5000. But they aren't really gone. They are still in contact with the governments and the governments are working for them really.

There are different kinds of aliens and the ones that we have been involved with historically have used us for their own interests, whether they cared for us or not as pets. It is in their best interest to keep us divided and at war with each other so that we are easy to keep in control. However, now that humans are on the verge of becoming one people, as critical mass of population and dissolving of national boundaries and the information and communication can happen with almost anyone across the globe with anyone else via internet, phones, etc. Our consciousness is ripe for being helped bu the another race of aliens who wants to include us in the Galactic Federation. So they have been secretly nudging us and encouraging us. It is these aliens that will save us from a Nuclear War in 2012 and it is these aliens that will reveal themselves to every Earthling in a way that will not frighten us but will unite us as all one people. It is then that we will become galactic citizens.
Now some of our world leaders are either aliens, alien hybrids, or humans who work for the aliens. It seems the Annunaki want their Iraq area back. I can't figure out Barack Obama. He definately works for the aliens, I just don't know which ones. I don't know whter or not to trust him or not. There is a reason he has no birth certificate. Either he is from Galactic federation up against all the entrenched Annunaki and Reptilians (Neo-Conservative Republican) or he is just part of the same old system used as a masterful way to harness the power of all the awakening consciousness to put its trust in him so that they can be controlled while he does the same old thing.

So the teachers like Jesus, Osho, Buddha, Lucifer etc. came to teach us to awaken our kundalini which will take out the slave gene so that we can stop being controlled and manipulated by aliens, priests or politicians (or Inorganic Beings). Jesus is Neo trying to free us from the Matrix.
The Kundalini is like an anti-virus program that lies within us that we haven't ran yet. We are infected with viruses and we have the antivirus program downloaded, we just haven't installed it yet. And that is what true spirituality is is for liberation from the Gods and to be lamps to ourselves. We need to eat from the tree of knowledge and from the tree of life. JHVH doesn't want us to of course. But JHVH is long dead, but his son is running things now (and I don't mean Jesus).

ANYWAY, there is a great story. But that is all it is, is a story. But it is a great one. But maybe, just maybe, it is not just a story. After all, it is just as believable as any other organized religion. Maybe we will find out in 2012 when there will be a UFO in every living room.

Ignore my previous post. It is bullshit, probably.

Sorry to double post, but I love this subject and I realized that i have a lot more to say.
I believe that aliens can also travel in inner space. I believe that they can adjust the rate of their frequency so that they can become invisible or even indetectable by any of the senses. I believe that they can travel from across the galaxy right into your own mind, and your own dream. Now this is a problem if you believe that the mind is in the brain and is abyproduct of the brain. But if you believe that the mind is a higher vibrational rate of the brain and that the mind lives in its own corresponding mental world that the brain lives in the physical body and physical world. i believe that the aliens can travel on both of these worlds. Truly, some of the alien mythos supports this and my own experiences as well. Aliens are reportedly telepathic.
Infact, aliens have taken the role that faeries held for a long time. In the past, it was encounters with faeries that tripped people out. It was the faeries who would abduct people and erase their memories. It was the faeries who were alien. But now we don't believe in faeries anymore. But this 'unknown or unknowable' aspect of our phenomonological existence won't go away. So it pops up again as the alien experience. Carl Jung and Stanislov Grof have some very interesting hypotheses regarding aliens.

They argue that the faerie/alien experience is an encounter with a deep part of the collective mind that refuses to be ignored, but is unknowable. so these experiences defy all definitions. that is the hallmark of the alien experience. There is never any verifiable evidence of the alien encounter, yet it cannot be written off as hallucinations either. Crop circles are a good example.

Now I know that there are skeptics who say that all crop circles are hoaxes, but that is simply not true. I am not saying that little green men from outerspace are making crop circles but that they are a manifestation of some intelligence that interacts with human intelligence.

What is the function of the alien experience? Carl Jung and Stanislov Grof call it the psychoid experience because it has qualities of both a hallucination and physical encounter. For example, the grass will be burnt and there will be an electromagnetic field left behind yet most of the encounter was extremely subjective.

I have had some interesting experiences. Let me tell you:
      1. There was a period of about 3 months were I was having an irrational fear of being abducted by aliens. I would have nightmares about it. This is actually what really motivated me to learn lucid dreaming. I wasn't sure if they were just dreams or not and I wanted to find out and fight back if necessary. I was afraid I was going crazy.
So the dreams always went like this: I was pulled through a tunnel with bright light. Then there was bright bright light shining in my face and extremely powerful vibrations that went like "WAWAWAWAWAWA" that seemed to vibrate my very energy and mind. Then my eyes would adjust to the light and I would be strapped onto a table surrounded by aliens looking at me and examining me. I would freak out and arch my body but I was restrained. through sheer will power I would wake myself up but I would be in Sleep Paralysis.
Well through the power of lucid dreaming I learned something. First, I learned that I couldn't stop it, even if I was lucid, except by waking up. Second, and after I learned the first point, I decided one night to let it happen, and to go against my instincts of fighting or flying away but rather try to relax and let it happen. It was hard but I calmed myself down and looked into the eyes of the aliens. I felt with into their eyes with my mind and heart and they shapeshifted into doctors with face masks on and I was a baby in an incubator. I was being born. I was remembering my birth. I was reliving the terror of a hospital birth. thank god I was not born through cesarean! I never had that nightmare again.

      2. Another experience I had was when I was high on lots of LSD! I was with my girlfriend at the time. I felt a UFO above the house right over the roof. I saw it with my mind's eye. This was after my first experience that lucid dreaming cured, so I knew the value of relaxing and letting the unkown happen to you. So I decided to ask it telepathically to take me up. I closed my eyes and tuned in mentally to it. It positioned itself right above me and it shot down its beam into my crown chakra and instead of beaming me up, it beamed itself down into me. I felt it enter my crown chakra. The alien. I allowed it, but it was hard. It was like WILDing kind of, I had to be totally passive. Any thought or excitement and the connection would be lost. It came down to my third eye and instantly I could see in all directions and I was looking out of the alien's eyes and it was looking out of mine. I saw the Matrix. I allowed it to descend deeper until it was barely touching my throat chakra. I was starting to be able to understand an alien language and be able to understand the aliens thoughts in my own words and I wanted to allow it to come down more so that I could channel it and let it speak but the connection was lost and I popped out of that trance and my friend was staring at me. She said that I freaked her out because I didn't look like myself but I looked like an alien. I told her what just happened but she didn't want to go down that train of thoughts so we watched a dinosaur documentary.

      3. This experience was before any of those. I was at a Rainbow Gathering and my friends and I were hanging out at our camp. This hippie couple lays down a blanket and lays out all these things on it and calls us over and askes us if we want to smoke a bowl. We go over they are real excited to be there and seem like they are so honored to be hanging out with us. They offer us granola bars and crystals and graham crackers and peanut butter. They are so excited to share with us. The whole time I am looking at them, at their birkenstock sandals, at their fanny packs, at there crocheted hippie tam hats, at their John Lennon glasses and I am thinking "Where did this couple come from?" It was the most cliched stereotypical hippie costume. But they were so nice and kind and eager and excited, so I didn't think that they were undercover cops or narcs or anything. And then they smoked some pot with us and after only one hit, I shit you not, I see them turn to each other and start speaking to each other in some strange language that sounded robotic. They are beeping and clicking and sounding like R2D2. I turned down a second hit as did my friends. We couldn't speak we were so high. The alien couple gave us all some granola bars and chocolate bars and crystals and then said goodbye but we couldn't speak. We were literally 15 feet away from our camp but we ended up wandering lost in the woods across the lake and over the hill and we had no memory of how we got out there. My friends and I hadn't talked until a few hours later when we realized that we had been wandering in the woods for a few hours and we all asked each other "Where are we? How long have we been out here?" And "Is it just me or did those people seem kind of strange? Did anyone else see them talking to each other?" And a few others of us all said at once "They were aliens! Coming to check us out!" And that they were. Aliens just checking out the Rainbow Gathering, because there is nothing in the world like a Rainbow Gathering and anything is possible there. And those aliens were very kind, gentle, spiritual aliens. They were very great. And they did their research before coming down. They wanted to blend in so they researched how to be a hippy. It was funny, they did everything perfectly and they smoked me out with some SpaceBud.

You see, two of these experiences involved psychoactive substances, and another involved dreams. These are all subjective experiences. And this is typical of alien encounters. It is typical of alien encounters that nobody will believe you either. It just is.

That's super awesome It reminds me of an experience I had while eating lunch at my school. Except I was by myself so I couldn't ask other people if they saw what I just saw. Rainbow Gathering sounds fun!
