Anyone know about these are and what they are called?
Trying to do some research on these but don't know where to start.
Also what is displacement? Not sure what it is but I've heard of it.

Do you remember where you heard of these things? That might help a little bit.
If you heard them from conversations between other people or on a forum, you might be out of luck. A lot of people make up their own terms for things and invent totally new structures for their own belief system which gets passed along in their social circles.
Oh, okay then. Didn't know that.
I guess it's called chronokinesis, or at least that's what google tells me, and I would like to learn more about it, but don't know really where to start.
Hello
I believe in all this stuff and I think most of it is in your mind so I think for most thing meditation would be the key
for you I would suggest get like a ticking clock and then meditate and focus on the sound trying to slow down or speed up the ticks
Good luck
I think gazing at a wall clock for long enough can do odd stuff to time- I think I travelled forward three minutes that way. It was really odd!
Another time, the second hand seemed to freeze for a couple of seconds- I thought the clock was broken, but no.
Hope that helps and good luck in getting those boring meetings/lessons (delete as approiate) to disappear :cheeky:
The topic is just what I needed.;) Thanks to AccountableMasses. How about that: http://grasshopperx.com/mind-games/how-to-stop-time/?
I tried it... to no result. Yet I thought... that maybe it is possible, because who would be such an idiot and post in on that site, knowing that it doesn't work? What for?
Tell me, guys, if you try out this 'chronokinesis', how is it going. EDIT: Of course, how I understand 'chronokinesis', is not that you change the objective speed of time, obviously. It is nothing more than changing your own perception of time, to my mind, in the same way that psychodelics cause time distortion, only you do it wihout their aid. This term 'chronokinesis' is a bit... awkward to me.
I also recall one strange event that happened to me, related to this. I was smoking a cigarette. And... I was sober, I haven't taken any drugs (I don't take drugs), well, I slept enough the nigh before... And... the time... kind of dissolved. Like... slowed down, but apart from this, there was like complete peace inside me, like I experienced eternity. Absolutely amazing this was. Lasted for a minute, or two only, though.
It is mostly imagination and your mind playing tricks on you, in my opinion. If it was real, then SOMEONE throughout history would have mastered it and used it to their advantage. At least one person would have.
But how do you know?
Also, I think for chronokeknes to work best (or at all), you need a analouge clock with a second hand. A watch will probably do.
