The first couple of pages is the author trying to explain this scientifically.

It may take some practice to get this down. I haven't tried it much, but i already know it exists.

i found it difficult to continue reading after seeing the word "zillions."
the guy isn't a scientist. just do the exercise if your interested. It's not a scientific experiment ffs.
i know man lol i just don't like the word 'zillions.' :D
I like the word actually, its not a nice zing sound to it :cheeky:
Interesting article. It's always bothered me how easy it is to do this and just see screwy things just because your eyes are getting tired. But if he promises there experience is different, then the least I can do is give it a try
I'll definitely try it.
The article is actually how to see Auras...the other things you list...Psi/Reiki(?)/Chi/prana/life force......are not the "aura". Your thread title should be fixed to accurately represent the data...which I shall do right now.
Also I found nothing scientific about that article. :P
If anyone can get their hands on a book called "Hands Of Light: A Guide to Healing through the Human Energy Field",
http://www.amazon.com/Hands-Light-He.../dp/0553345397
http://www.barbarabrennan.com/ (author's website)
It could serve as neat scientific material concerning the aura subject.
As Aquanina stated, auras can be seen as not the same thing as Psi/Reiki/Prana/general life force. If you try to use the "aura sight" exercise/relaxing your eyes and losing focus/whatever laid down on the ground/plain grass on a park or something while what you're supposed to watch is the sky, you'll begin to see teenesy little particles on the air, that is Prana/Vril/C'hi/Orgone/general life force, that'd be seeing into the "universal energy field" in which we're all supposed to be submersed. If you get the hang of it enough, you can try to see the aura of a tree and you'll se the tree's aura absorving the life particles in the air. Your body also does it.
As to the Reiki issue, it's kind of different.
A long time ago in Japan, a man called Mikao Usui (Usui Mikao in american/non japanese order of names) decided to enlight himself after the life he had had. After years or such on a monastery practicing ascetic training in order to dissolve the ego and achieve enlightment, he ended up failing in his attempt, (he had spent the sufficient time to it there and he didn't achieve it, something like that) so his last option for enlightment would be death (in which in his next reincarnation he would have the karmic positive weight of his enlightment at his past life death) and he headed to Mount Kuruma, aiming his death. There he would wait for death to come, without eating. (thing is, he was kind of fatty, so he took 21 days to his near-death experience)
It is said that he saw a light in the sky and everything went blank when he was the closest to death he could get on that day. Reiki history says he found sacred symbols within the light and understood the meaning of divine nature or something like that. I rather thinking he went through a near-death experience and experienced a most refined state of mind, in which he could be at one with the universe.
Reiki is like raw, crude life force, essence in its prime state. It's different from other energies for being like that, since it's not dualistic or polarized, it's kind of perfectly balanced and auto-correctional by it's own nature. It's also not learnable. Mikao Usui decided to hand down his found power to others, so you kind of recieve it, rather than learning it. (I'm a certificated Reikian lvl 1 btw)
well whatever energy is the energy that comes from the pineal gland/third eye/WILD vibrations is the energy I can manipulate.
Check this out, look at what this guy does with Chi/Ki

Yea Velin, I seen that one before.
The video I posted is real also. Just look at 1:14, you can't run like that and change speed/direction without something exerting a force on you. That would defy the laws of physics.
I seen another with this old Chi guru moving bricks without touching them.
No wonder stuff like this isn't mainstream, look how people are acting in the youtube comments lol
Not mature enough to handle this type of stuff.
Whoa a friend of mine told me about that video last year (John Chang), I finally got to see it.
Thanks a lot, Velinxs!
