Vipassana meditaion
Hey.
Iīve done a 10-day course in vipassana meditiation. I searched the forums but to my surprise I couldnīt find any topic on it.
I find it all very interesting, and the hole course was good experience, although it was tough as hell...
I was curious if anyone else here has experience/knowledge in vipassana, if you do, please share.
If you want to find out what vipassana is:

Vipissana is essentially mindfulness meditation plus the spiritual/moral stuff, right? I practice mindfulness meditation regularly. It's very relaxing.

Wow, the 10 day course + food/housing is free? Very generous. Might try it out if there was one near me.

They're kind of strict aren't they?
I got close to doing the 10-day course, but college makes it hard if you're on classes.

Hi Gabriel
I have vipassana experience for many years.
In this forum I am a beginner.
Vipassana and dreams (wether they ar lucid or not) do have something in common: All phenomens which arise are quick, elusive, short, fading (anicca). Phenomens are perceived object for all five senses, but also thoughts and concepts.
One example: Once in a sitting meditation I have seen very clear a man with a greatcoat. Suddenly his eyes disappeared, the whole face faded away, then parts of the body until all was mixing with the background.
In vipassana and lucid dreaming it is good to be clear in mind, to have some concentration, a good motivation and other good states of the mind.
Do you have a lot of experiences in lucid dreaming?
