Tried using clock RC last night, it didn't work. I kept looking at a watch and time wasn't messed up at all.
Hey Aledrea, welcome to the class. You have some interesting dream signs. Mine are pretty boring, they're all stuff common in waking life.
Have you been practicing DILD/MILD for most of the time you've been active in this forum? Or have you taken some breaks?
Yeah, most of the time I use DILD/MILD. A couple times I've tried WILD, but it doesn't work very well for me. and I occasionally take breaks. Sometimes I lose motivation or just want to have a regular dream.
Daily Update: Had a lucid last night. Method was DIlD. I was in a building and became invisible and just realized I was dreaming. I got into a room, and noticed my dream was fading and I jumped and clapped my hands and looked at them and everything got better. Completed a Task of the Month. I stuck my head through a mirror and saw a tunnel, it was dark and the walls were made out of the same stuff as the mirror. After that I soon lost lucidity.
You completed a TOTM? Good job! :D I guess that means you can update your sig soon. I glanced over your DJ entry, and seems like the lucidity didn't last very long. That's a shame, but you stabilized very nicely!
Thanks, and yeah, my lucids don't tend to last long, a problem I'm trying to figure out and fix, but stabilization tends to work well for me if I'm trying to stay in the dream.
Congrats again on the DILD as well as the TOTM!! I can't wait to do the mirror one myself.
Also well done on the stabilization. Reminding yourself throughout the lucid dream that you're dreaming is a good technique. I think alot of people should try this. It's one thing to flick your hands about and spin and scream things, but really just telling yourself that it's a dream may be more effective. I'll have to try and remember that one.
Update: No lucids this week :( have been trying to be more aware though, and trying to stay motivated this time!
Yeah keep up that motivation, you're a TOTM champion!!
Update: Still no lucids, but my recall and the dream vividness has greatly imporved. I'll update journal tomorrow, my internet has been down for a few days :/
Ok cool I look forward to reading!
Finally returned. Haven't been on for a while, had a ton of stuff going on for quite a long time.
No worries Aledrea, we understand! It's important to stay focused on the world around you. Glad you returned. :)
Update: No lucids at all but some really long dreams, I'm gonna write last night's down.
Hey Aledrea, sorry to read about the lack of lucids. But at least your dream recall is good! That'll be handy when you do have LDs. :) You've been focusing on DILD/MILD, yeah? Have you been trying any awareness techniques too? In your prior LDs, how'd you become lucid? If you can find out what you notice in dreams to become lucid, maybe you can refine your current techniques?
