tehmuffinman's Workbook
Hello all, tehmuffinman reporting in. I've had a few LD's before during my last stint here at DV. I am now back after a several month involuntary break so I'm hoping to come back full force. I'll finish reading the pre-lesson bits and then get to work in here.

Thanks.
I don't think I'm going to be posting dreams in the dream journal on here; I prefer to just keep them in the book I've got next to my bed.
I'm starting to recognize a few things as dreamsigns, mainly my cat and a friend of mine. My cat works well I think because I see her frequently everyday and she pops up in a dream every couple days so I can get used to associating her with dreaming and RCing when I see her. The friend of mine is sort of a weird situation. I can't reality check when I see or talk to her because I only talk to her a few times a year and no longer see her since she moved. For some reason she pops up in a dream of mine probably every other night at least (subconscious things that I should probably attend to at some point lol). I'll think on that and see if I can't formulate some way to utilize her recurrence in dreams for me.
Been doing nose-pinch breathing RC whenever I think about it or something reminds me about dreaming, probably do it 5-10 times a day average. I'm also reading through LaBerge's EWLD and some of the guides and tutorials on here while I get my recall back up to par to determine what induction techniques I'm interested in. Probably MILD but I'd like to try WILD as well.
Recall is starting to get somewhere again. Last night I remembered, I'd call it 2.5 from one awakening since two of them were pretty intact and one of them I think was from earlier in the night so it was just a fragment. The two nights before that I didn't remember any. I think I just need to go to sleep earlier even if I am getting the same total number of hours at night. The two nights I didn't remember any I had been up until 1:00 a.m. and probably didn't fall asleep until 1:30 a.m. Last night I fell asleep around 11:00 p.m. and I got around the same number of hours each night as the other two nights but I actually remembered something.

That cat thing sounds great. About your friend though: maybe you can put post-its around your house (if you spend a lot of time there) with your friend's name? I used to do it before, when a recurring dream sign was my friend whom I don't see often. I put sticky notes all around the house with her name, and RC when I see them. Not sure why it worked for me though, since it was just a name, and not a face. Perhaps coming across the name is enough to trigger a memory of her face and personality.
Anyway, good job with the improving recall. Also, what are some of your lucid goals? We'd love to know :D
