Vengeance's Workbook

Hi guys I am Vengeance. I would love to brush up on my basics as I find that could be a way to advance my dreaming ability. I know I am not new to dreaming but I would like to learn yet another DVA course as they always help somehow. Unfortunately I may not be available for each DVA chat as my time zone is GMT+2. Reality Checks:
-Counting fingers
-Nose plug

Dream Signs:
I find that my dream signs are heavily influenced by what happens during the day (residue)
-School
-Being in a space with only a few people (usually who I encounter during the day)

Short-Term Goals:
-Master firebending
-Contact my DG

Long-Term Goals:
-LD at will

Lucid/Dream Recall History:
Average of 4 non-lucid dreams per night

Current Technique:
-MILD

Welcome to the class! Hopefully we can help you out as much as possible, talking to other people about your progress will probably help - it acts as a good motivator. Your goals are pretty much the same as mine!
Your recall is amazing as well, so it'll be easier for you to become pro :P

Night 1:
I recalled 4 very long, vivid and enjoyable dreams last night. My dream vividness has increased noticeably recently. The dreams can be found if you click on my sig, they pretty long tho -,-

I decided to list what I currently do as LD technique.

I create a trust between my subconscious and conscious brain daily.

I use the mantra: 'I improve my dreaming ability daily'

I use the following personalized visualisation: I am standing outside near my school sport field. I am wearing my school clothes and they are tight and comfortable around my body. The cold breeze of air brushes against my face. My hands are light and warm inside my pockets. As I walk towards the field I feel the pressure of the bricks underneath my feet. I can hear the soft tap of my feet echoing around the pavilion. I look towards the white dead grass. The pinkish sun is rising from behind all the buildings. I walk until I feel the soft grass underneath my feet. I consider the significance of this place which I have mediated on so often. I count my fingers and become lucid. I fly over the school and my lucid adventure begins. After that I visualize the lucid goals I want to accomplish and the feeling after waking from the LD

Before sleep I meditate shortly, then I visualize for a few minutes and finally I say my mantra until I fall asleep or until a few minutes before sleep.



EDIT: I have decided to identify my school as my second dream sign since it has occurred in like 70% of my dreams and all 4 last night.

Hello Vengeance, welcome to our class!

Oooh, lucid death. I'd like to experience that too. I read a post where someone experienced reincarnation in a LD, and it sounds like an enlightening event. Or really cool, anyway. So which of those goals are you going for in your next LD? Care to describe how you hope your next LD will pan out? :)

Hmm, I would like to get lucid through DEILD since the technique has evaded me for ages. And as for the goals I see that it would be possible to do all the dream goals in one LD although I would prefer not to. Otherwise I would like to get lucid through my current incubation which leads me through becoming lucid and going on to learn fire bending :P

As for night 2:
I only recalled one dream since I was so tired from night 1 where I got no sleep. I will try recalling more during the day and focusing on my intent. The dream will be posted later :)

Yeah hopefully you'll have even more recall the next time, once your sleep schedule is back to normal. I find that I DEILD best when I have ample sleep, especially in regards to having time to sleep in.

Quick update:
I had 3 vivid dreams last night, one which was extremely significant because it was another dream relationship. Honestly I wish I went lucid and GTFO of that situation. That was in dream 3 of 4 August. Saturday only revealed one recalled dream which is a bit disappointing although I had a lack of sleep. See you guy soon :D

Hi guys sorry for being MIA but I am back now. I recalled 5 dreams which were all pretty long and vivid. I am having some trouble getting lucid lately tho, it should come wrote during the holidays starting tomorrow :)

5 long vivid dreams last night which means I will be moving on to lesson 3. Interesting notes about last night are that the dreams seemed very fake to me and although I didn't become lucid, the stability of the dream certainly deteriorated. I will post the dream a bit later.

Sorry guys but i am going away for 2 weeks so I won't really be around. I will try and continue with my lessons but posting in the workbook will be really difficult since i won't have much time. Sorry for jsut randomly leaving but see you guys then :)

Hi guys,
I am back from my 2 week break or what ever you want to call it. I have had 3 or 4 lucid dreams over this period which is pretty cool. I joined this class to brush up on my basics and to learn some stuff that i may have forgotten. The class has helped me a load and that's why I have decided to quit. There have only been 16 posts in my workbook but the chats were also pretty fun. I have decided to carry on with my technique and the training which has got me all my lucids so far. The class truly reminded me of how it worked for me.
