I decided I'm actually going to start doing stuff. I haven't had a lot of lucid dreams so I'm starting again from the beginning. My goal is to have at least 2 LDs before the end of the year.

My dream recall is improving a lot, but no LDs yet. I'm just using RCs right now. I can't use WBTB because my alarm clock would probably wake up everyone else and not me
I'm trying to write in my dream journal more, but a lot of my dreams are almost impossible to describe. What else can I do to remember them more?
I just looked at some other threads and noticed everyone was doing this.
Reality Checks:
-Nose pinch
-Finger through palm
-Looking for anything unusual
-Thinking about what I did in the last few hours.
Dream Signs:
-Shaman
-Favorite musicians (Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, etc)
-Trees
Short-Term Goals:
-Have a few lucid dreams in the next couple weeks
-Remember at least 3 dreams every night
Long-Term Goals:
-Lucid dreams every night
-Use lucid dreaming to improve my life
Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-Somewhere between 10-20 lucid dreams
-I usually only remember a few dreams every week
Current Technique(s):
-DILD
Looking good, Woodstock! I'm eager to hear more from you, particularly since you have a knack for WILDing right into the first sleep of the night (presumably NREM.) Are you still pursuing this? It's a fascinating area because it's not well explored and generally considered very advanced.
You should compare notes with Xanous some time. He has pulled off a WILD at the beginning of the night as well.
Good luck and keep us updated on how things go for you!
I almost had a lucid dream last night, but right when I was about to do a reality check I got distracted when the teacher gave us cookies...
Now that my dream recall is good, I guess I should probably try harder for LDs. I'm doing reality checks more often, but I need something else. Any suggestions for a good technique that doesn't involve waking up in the middle of the night?
I finally had a lucid dream last night! But it was only a few seconds :(
That's a great start! Way to go. :bravo:
Congrats Woodstock! How did you get it? :D
