CGtraumfabrik's Workbook
Let's do this..
• Bed time
Normally 10:50pm to 6:50am
Actually 12:00pm to 7:10am
So 7-8 hours of sleep on the avg. - Will have to work hard on that one.
• Supplements
I supplement daily with Zink 30-50mg and Fish oil caps 3-5.
I heard they have a positive effect on vividness & "strangeness" of dreams, but that's not my primar reason taking them.
Occasionally Noopept 10mg/day.
Few supplements I am eager to try out:
Aniracetam + Choline
• Mantras, RCs, ADA
- "Why am I not dreaming right now" and find a logical reason for it. I.e. "I woke up this morning"
- I try to push my right hand trough my left.
- Pause and feel my surroundings. Feet on the floor, arms on the table, hand on the mouse etc.
• Dream Signs:
- Juancho my Pet
- A Woman
-
-
• Stress level
- My daily stress level is quite high, something I'll try to minimize.
• WBTB
- Will try to actually wake up when my alarm rings at 5am, giving me approx. 6-5 hours of sleep.
• Recall Quality
- IF i can recall any dream, the quality is good and I can recall feelings, sounds, emotions and so on.
• Short-Term Goals
- Get my recall up a few levels
- Have my first LD
- Not get killed in SP
• Long-Term Goals
- Be able to control my dreams troughly
- Try out various techniques
- Meditate regularly
• Current Technique:
- DILD
- Since the drop out rate seems to be high with WILD.
Can't wait for bedtime :>

Welcome CGtraumfabrik :)
7-8 hours of sleep is pretty good. I find on days that I can sleep 8+ I have the best luck snatching up a lucid or recalling dreams in great detail.
I'm not very well practiced in the art of using lucid aids, but I would advise you to do a bit of research before using anything. Some aids that people use to enhance dreaming can be harmful in large doses.
If you are feeling particularly stressed before bed, have you considered trying meditation? I don't use it every night, but when I'm feeling high strung before bed I'll do some light meditation to calm down.
I wouldn't stress about SP. Unless it's something you experience already, it's unlikely it will be a problem for you. I've had successful WILDs/DEILDs, etc and have never experienced SP.
Good luck! If you have any questions feel free to PM me :)

Progressing..
Went to bed at 11pm and set my alarm for 3am for WBTB. I actually woke up and walked around in my room, streched and went to bed again.
My head was really wuzzy and had little to no concentration. I tried to do a SSILD, after a few cycles it felt as if I was falling trough my bed. But I didn't know what to do and my mind faded away..
Guess that counts as a little progress.
Thank you PennyRoyal for the feedback! I'll try to make first experiences myself but will definitely pm you before I crash and burn :)

Right on CG, nice job on sticking to your guns and doing that wbtb. I was bad and just rolled over when my alarm went off last night :P
Falling sensations and the like can mean you are close to transitioning into a dream, there's not really much to do here except stay calm and wait - at least if you are shooting for WILD. SSILD is supposed to cause DILDs the way I understand it, so there's nothing wrong with falling asleep after.
But, if you are trying to transition from the waking state and continue falling into unconcious sleep, try extending your wbtb a bit.

This Weekend just blasted right trough my efforts.
Fri - Sat slept 2 hours
Sat - Sun slept 13 hours but not a single dream was recalled.
But I won't quit. Been doing my RC's today and looking forward to a good night of sleep.
