      Mikaa's workbook

      Good day,
      I've been into LDs for more then a year now, although I never worked on it as much as now. I never had a LD, but I'm keeping a dream journal for a month or two, I started doing reality checks last week, and I started going to bed earlier because I have a hard time falling asleep.


      Reality Checks:
      - Looking at my hands and asking myself where I have been before and how I came here

      Dream Signs:
      - Cacti
      - Foggy weather

      Short-Term Goals:
      - Have a lucid dream (xd) [Done]
      - Stabilize my sleep pattern [Done]
      - Talking to my subconscious
      - Listening to dream music

      Long-Term Goals:
      - Having at least a few LDs per week

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      - I remember my dreams very good, they seem vivid. The problem is that for some reason, many times the story of my dream doesn't make any sense, so it's sometimes hard for me to remember it.
      - Update: My recall sucks. I must work on it.

      Current Technique:
      - DILD, keeping a dream journal, FILD

      Welcome to intro class, Mikaa! I can see you have some cool dream goals that you want to accomplish. That is awesome. I think it is very important to have something to look forward to in your next ld.

      Actually, one of this month's tasks is to go to a concert/store and listen to some music. I find this quite exciting and perhaps you can use this task to your advantage as well and think about how cool it will be to complete this task. It can help incubate dreams with the topic and if you set the intention to recognize this is a dream in such moments, then you can have an ld!

      So you were thinking about performing RCs in the dream? That's a really good sign. Next time you will do an RC and lucidity will follow!

      Yay! Congrats!

      I think it's possible the dream was end of REM. You might have fallen asleep shorly after that into the beach scene you already created. At any rate good job! You also got the music element a bit earlier.

      Well, I've taken a long pause from LD-ing. But I'm back at it.

      I'm going to try FILD for the next 2 weeks.

      My recall is getting better.

      I tried FILD last night, but i didn't have a LD.

      I'm going to follow the WILD Session 1: Mental Prep Part A homework for a week.

      I've had a busy weekend, so my sleep cycle wasn't normal, but I'm on the right track again. I wasn't doing many RCs and I didn't do FILD, but I'm going to do it again from today.
