Puhtato's Workbook
Hey everyone!
I'll be keeping track of my daily (nightly?) progress here and I'll hopefully be dropping in on others' workbooks to see if I can help out.
I'm waaaaay out of practice when it comes to LD, but I still have a lot of knowledge on the subject.
Task for the Night
I'll try and keep track of my tasks for the sleep ahead. I have a pretty regular schedule but I need to keep a closer eye on it and actually set myself a bed time so I can start remembering my dreams more often. Just now, I'm lucky to remember even one a night. So my task for tonight/tomorrow morning is to restart my dream journal and start focusing more on my dreams. It used to be an important part of my life, following my dreams, but I lost track of that when I started having to work shifts around the clock and my sleep schedule was shot.
Thankfully, I'm in a new job now and I think this would be a great way to spend my time and keep myself motivated to keep a schedule and stop sleeping in!
So my task for the night is to start my dream journal!

Okay, so last night was a flop. I couldn't remember a thing! That could be down to the fact that I didn't get to sleep when I would've liked, so my sleep was cut short. I'm still pretty tired to be honest.
So my task for tonight will be exactly the same as last night! Maybe I'd be better doing tasks for the week... I dunno.
Got my dream journal sitting next to my bed just in case anyway! We'll see how tonight goes n_n

Welcome to intro class, Puhtato! :)
I like how you have a special task to do every night! A really good approach!
Don't hestitate to ask if you have any questions.

Will do NyxCC n_n
So my nightly task should definitely turn into a weekly task... I've been stressed as hell from work and I've not managed to have any decent recall, but it's slowly ramping up.
Weekly task this week is just to get to bed on time and continue that. I've been staying up late every night doing work and it needs to stop - keeps me tired all day and miserable in the mornings. Gonna start going to bed for half 10 - turning everything off and actually getting into bed at that time to go to sleep, regardless of how long it takes me. If I stay still for long enough, I feel like my body is spinning and it's a fun sensation to fall asleep to, so that's what I'm gonna try and do.
I've downloaded sleep as android (an alarm app for android which tracks sleep movement) and that should help me out. It would definitely be beneficial for WBTB since it wakes you up during either light sleep or REM periods.

Weekly task sounds good too! Something similar happened to me - I wrote down some tasks for the rest of the month and I still need to catch up on these. The important thing is to have goals. If we do, we will have to come back to them even if we stray for a while. :)
