Just saying hello
Like the title implies Im just stopping by to say hello. Ive heard of lucid dreaming before and have even done it successfully in a natural environment. Now Im actually practicing and hoping to one day be able to control many dreams in the future.
A little about me - Im 19 and currently majoring in Psychology. The mind interests me in many many different ways from the physical aspects to the cognitive aspects. I appreciate artwork in almost any way you can show it to me. I love being a college student and trying to stay out of trouble. In closing I hope to get to know all of you and hope that Im able to get myself to the realm of Lucid Dreaming and possibly help some others along the way.

First off, I approve highly of your avatar :D I need to get caught up in the show.
Secondly, welcome to DV! :okbyenow: We're glad you joined us and let us know if there's anything we can do to help you become lucid. If you ever get stuck with anything, you can also contact any of us Dream Guides (the guys and gals with the green names) and we'll do our best to help you out. Also, if you haven't looked at them, yet, I'd recommend checking out the Tutorial Section for some information on LDing, including induction techniques and information on reality checks, dream signs, and so on. I'd recommend looking at DILD (Dream Induced LD), MILD (Mneumonic Induced LD), and Reality Checks first. You can try any of the induction methods, but try sticking with one for at least a week or two before switching to something else. Find what works for you.
It's always fun to me to hear of lucid dreamers and aspiring LDers studying psychology and the like. I loved college as well (majored in Russian in '07) and I hope you continue to enjoy your classes and pick up things that apply to your dreams. Let us know if you ever do a dream-related project, as there's quite a few people here who would be happy to help out :content: Just saying...
Well, best of luck! I hope to see you around.

Thank you very much! I used to always wonder why people didnt look at stickies but it looks like even I get so worked up that I forget to take a look at them.
I believe if you are studying Psychology you are inclined to get into Lucid Dreaming. Its the logical choice atleast. :P One day in the future I may very well call about the community to help me out with a project. Thanks for the idear!
I also agree, you need to get caught up in the show because its just too amazing to let go haha.
