Hello fellow...Dreamers? Intro plus a question
Hi, I'm "thecarrot", or Louis. I've known about lucid dreaming for a bit now but have just decided to take the plunge and devote some time to learning more and (hopefully, eventually) exploring my mind, finding my inner self and letting thoughts I would usually forget about teach me more than any one person ever could...it in no way has anything to do with flying.:D
Since I was little I could achieve lucidity, but I’ve never been able to keep it. If you read my journals (which I'll probably add to whenever I have something even slightly interesting) you'll see that I pop out of lucidity just as quickly as I pop into it, so hopefully the books I have along with other people's experiences (yours, haha) will allow me to reach the next level in enlightenment, also known as "flying around and breathing fire on unsuspecting dream people". That’s science lingo, sorry if it’s overwhelming.
My question is this-- are there any codes I should know of? I belong to a few forums and they all have their own words for things, and I'm just wondering if anyone is willing to divulge some information so I can understand what’s going on. (Like DC, I think it stands for Dream Characters?) Unless I have to learn about these nicknames on my own, like a gang "blooding in" a new member or a disney channel wannabe being degendered before becoming a star, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks, unless you don’t reply, and then I'm just throwing you a halfhearted glare and an awkward immature wave.
