Hello =D I'm Uki, and I've been introduced to lucid dreaming by a friend of mine, as well as a video game I just finished playing called Yume Nikki xD Anyways, my dreams have always been quite..interesting, so I've finally decided to try and explore them. ^^
Edit: Newbie question xD When lucid dreaming, does your soul exit your body like in astral projection? Or does it stay intact ?

Thanks for the warm welcomes ^^ I actually have a newbie question xD When lucid dreaming, does your 'soul' exit your body like in astral projection? n_n;; Or does it stay intact. 'cause when I was little, I used to sort of accidentally astral project, and I hated the feeling.
Depends. I don't believe in a soul, so I suggest that no, lucid dreaming is simply realizing one is dreaming while dreaming, and nothing more. However, maybe I'm not the best person to ask...
No, I belive.
It's just like normal dreaming, but knowing that you are and being able to control.
Ah, ok, so it's just your mind. ^^ Thanks for both of your input. I've always been a bit weary about astral projection (bad experiences as a child), so I just wanted to make sure. =)

Astral projection (called 'Phase' by LaBarge) occurs only in your sleeping mind. Nothing could harm you while doing so. It is just an imagination of our sub-conscious mind. Try to enjoy it
