Hai,
Been lurking around here for a couple months :P, decided to join and participate in some discussions. I've had 7 lucid dreams since I started reading and exploring it 5 months ago. I've finally started having ones that are longer than 30 seconds and hope to develop some good techniques and further explore consciousness.

good luck with your lucid dreaming endeavors.

Thanks, I've only had DILD's so far and I really want to try the WILD technique. It sounds like it has a higher success rate of becoming lucid.

Some people find it easy to WILD and others have a hard time. I have never been able to WILD on purpose. I have done it a couple times by accident. It takes a lot of effort to successfully WILD.

WILD can be a more consistent method. However, if you speak to someone not lucky enough to get WILD to work for them I can bet they would tell you that WILD in and of itself does not always mean a higher success rate. It all has to do with how you can make it work for you. For example, when I first started WILDing, I really could not get over the fear of the SP. Finally I did, and was able to relax enough through the process to transition into a dream, but for that beginning period my WILD success rate was 0, and I was having more DILDs than WILDs.
