Greetings.
And thus the wise man dreams in the deep of the night,
His face illumined by glints of the abyss.
I'm so excited to be here. I've never had a lucid dream that I recall but about two weeks ago I decided to become a lucid dreamer. I've been keeping a dream journal and I think I've made considerably progress but I feel my dreams are trapped in that little book. It's freeing and encouraging to know there is a supportive community out here. I can't wait to explore with you guys.

Welcome!
Lucid dreaming is truly exciting and amazing! If you like, take a mosey towards the Tutorials forum and read up on an induction technique that may work for you. I would recommend checking out the DILD tutorial and the WILD one, specifically, as those are the two main "categories" :)
Also, here's a list of acronyms that are commonly used to dreaming communities :) http://www.dreamviews.com/f74/acronym-list-2954/

Welcome! I have never had a lucid dream either but it would be so cool. There is a lot of information on this website and the community is very supportive. Just remember this, never give up! Keep in mind Dr LaBerge's words that life is short and we spend between a quarter to half our lives sleeping. So it is really worth trying. Keep us updated on your progress and good luck!:)
