Third Person

I've never really realized it, but often times my dreams are in the third person. Sometimes I'm not even present in the dream at all, and its more like watching a movie than anything else. There have been situations where a dream starts out third person but then somewhere along the line I come into it, but that's rare. Is it even possible to become lucid in a dream where you aren't present? If you become lucid in a third person dream where you see yourself, could you potentially talk to yourself? Any interesting thoughts or experiences on the subject are much appreciated.

Dreams in third person are very common. If you turn lucid, its very likely that the dream will go to first person. You will be the star of your dream rather than a spectator!
