Two journals?
So I'm new to this so I only have one dream recalled and recorded so far but I realized that when I remember it... I remember the end, then the part before that, then before, and so on. So when it's finally on my paper... It's all backwards.. What if I did that in the morning and then at night before I sleep again I re write it in a separate journal so it's in the right order. This would make me start thinking about dreams and get me into the mood as well as organize them better.
Also something unrelated... it seems like last night there were 3 parts. I remember being in a school, I remember being in an elevator, and I remember being outside my house. It was all in a two hour period of sleeping, so was this just 1 dream or "thr3e"? I know dreams can skip around and still be one dream, but how do you know if you recall more than one dream or not..

Hey LostInDream! Welcome to DV :D
I think it's a great idea to go over your dreams again before bed, especially if it's to put it in their correct order. I usually have to work backwards myself and I've also found that when I'm trying to write it down in order I can forget certain details and end up writing things such as "Before all that..." or "After X happened..." You're not alone in that.
As far as distinguishing one long dream or several shorter dreams, that's really up to you. I really couldn't tell you and I doubt anyone else could. Personally, I have a tendency to go from one location to another to another and so on, so I understand that part. If there's any big gaps in "plot" or in your memory between jumps, it's possible those were separate dreams, but since they are your dreams it's up to you to decide.
