You could to improve the quality of your dream recall. In the morning, do you normally wake directly from a dream? Or do you remember dreams from earlier in the night? Changing your sleep schedule a few minutes in either direction might help you wake closer to a dream cycle. You could also wake after each dream throughout the night to write it down immediately. This is less disturbing than it sounds. We naturally wake briefly after each dream, then immediately forget about it and fall back to sleep.
