hi guys
Lucid dreaming is something I've always wanted to do, and I gave it a shot a year ago. I started with keeping a DJ, and after 2 weeks my dream recall went up, as I was able to remember lots and lots of details. I said to myself I wasn't going to attempt LD until my dream recall was decent enough (which I found it wasn't).
But... my intrest faded, and with my DJ. However, this time I am going to do it! Started with a DJ again a few days ago, not so good so far. Only remember fragments, and sometimes even nothing. But I'll get there I guess..
And this time I found a very good knowledgepit about LD's (this site), so I'm sure I'll eventually succeed.

If you want to improve your dream recall take some B6 vitiams and Fish Oil.

I almost WILDed this morning! I woke up, but couldn't remember any dreams. So I relaxed, after 10 seconds I saw HI (some purple flashes) and a few seconds later I started getting the vibrations! So I let it all happen, but somehow I lost focus and it stopped.
It's not that I'm afraid, I used to get SP frequently, without even wanting to experience it (but back then I didn't know it had something to do with LD). I even had an OOBE a year ago, but I didn't realize it at the time...

Same thing happened to me this morning at around 4:00am - 5:00am. I've only ever had DILD's (7-8 this summer since I began trying). I felt myself falling into sleep paralysis and saw streaks of colors -- I remember purple was popular for me as well -- shoot past my right eye (as if shooting stars were going by). When this started happening I tried adding in the FILD method with my left hand to ensure I remained somewhat conscious if I started dreaming. The SP sensation continued for what had to be about a minute before I decided to do reality checks. At first, I couldn't move at all, which happened to me a few times in my previous DILD's where I had a false awakening..so I assumed I was dreaming, but then I was quickly able to sit up in my bed, and after doing the checks realized I was not dreaming. It was rather unfortunate =/

Yeah had that as well, thinking it's a FA, when it really isn't :( But the cool part is that I never tried a WILD before! Only been keeping a DJ for 5 days now. I think it has something to do with the fact that I read alot of interesting stuff about WILD on this site. Alot of people don't succeed because they are lying in bed, waiting for something to happen, which keeps you awake. I adapted a different mindset (which is kind of difficult to explain), and I almost pulled it off! I was really amazed that I was getting HI after 10 seconds or so.
