Should I try MILD and WBTB mixed?

Is this a good idea to get your first lucid dream?

Not for your first. WILD, even with WBTB is very difficult.
I'd recommend MILD.

For your first, i'd reccomend just reality checking alot, and if you do wbtb, go to dreamviews and in general just think about dreaming. DILD(Dream induced lucid dreams) are the easiest. Its when you recognize your dreaming in a dream. But if you know what milds and wbtbs are, you probably know most of what i just explained. But DILD's will happen if you are aware and RC often. Once you have a few and dont freak out when you are in them, LDing becomes easier.
