Hey everyone! I'm new!
Hey everyone!
I've been on and on with trying to lucid dream for the pass two years.. but now I want to start focusing on it more. I have been keeping records of dreams since 2008.. gradually fading into one entry a month or not even one entry a month.. but right now, I'm trying to refocus on recall and try to really get into lucid dreaming. Right now, I seem to be having the problem of realizing I'm in a dream, but lacking the ability to control it much... plus, even when I do sort of realize that I'm in a dream, it doesn't appear to be too vivid.. in addition.. the thing I changed doesn't even seem to last long.. (Like last night.. I was bored and sitting in a car in the sky, and then I realized I was dreaming. So I demanded to be in Qatar, and then I see a picture of the Doha skyline and I got really angry.. so then after continuing to demand, I end up in an airport.. and a chinese woman asks "Am I in Qatar?" which really is the only thing that backs up what I wanted, and after I went up an elevator moments after, I felt like I was in some other world.. and completely forgot how I got there and what happened before ) Thanks in advance for all of the welcomes.. and I hope to get along with everyone here.

Hello and welcome
Changing your dreamworld just works when you're convident and believe that you can actually change you're dreamworld (and it takes a lot of practice)
In my last lucid dream I had, I wanted to fly by jumping off a mountain, but I was not convident enough and thought " O no! I'm gonna crash!". I became so afraid that I woke up in the middle of the night lol
