Hello?
I state that as a query, as all new experiences in a community begin as such...seeking the water level.
I found this forum searching for dream journal software. I have a pretty old program called Dreamscribe, and while it's nice for quick dream entry (I type at least three times as fast as I write) it still doesn't have the ability to implement sketches, which is important to me. I'm not an accomplished artist by any means but I have an associate degree in computer graphics so I'm looking for something that allows me to import drawings (using wacom tablet) and creatively use them...perhaps have integrated descriptions...like a traditional journal would...an overlay perhaps. Has anyone seen software like this?
Everyone here is a dreamer, so it's useless to state I am in this context. I haven't really seen a limit to my dreams, although externally I have only had a few lucid dreams in my life. In dreams I die, inhabit other people, see color, etc. I also have dreams that are on the edge of my understanding, consciousness dreams I call them. I'm hoping this is the spot to discuss them, perhaps gain some understanding. I've been a dreamer for a long time, though I haven't recorded them in a while. I'm starting again today. :)

It's good that you're recording your dreams again. There is a little bit of journalling software here, but nothing that allows sketching or anything. That's some pretty advanced stuff you're asking for. I'm also a computer graphics expert, and I don't think that exists.

Hmm...the way my memory works I can type in the specifics of a dream and reading them again recalls a lot of detail in the image. I could probably use InDesign to create a book and assign a template for the documents. It isn't streamlined the way I want it to be (accessible but legible).
Maybe sometime in the future I can figure out a way for Flash to do it. I don't know how to allow an isolated flash file to modify itself permanently...it would be a form related task and most likely involve using a separate database...and code--my arch nemesis. :D
